"What aren't you telling me?" I asked. Warren gave a frustrated look at Scott through the mirror. "It's not important." Warren said angrily. "Yea it is. I don't know about you two but y'all are acting strange." I said. "Tonight's a full moon. What happens tonight?" Scott asked. Warren slammed his back into the seat. Which Scott was behind of. "Shut the fuck up!" He yelled. Then I realized something..... Scott wanted to tell me so bad, but warren was the one who didn't. All I have to do is squeeze it out of him. We wee quiet all the way to Isabella's house. She hoped perkily into the car. "Lets get to that party!" He threw her hands in the air like she was already there. Warren smiled and backed out of her driveway. "So where are we going to dinner at?" Se asked turning to face me and Scott in the back seat. "Scott can't go." Warren said. "Why not?" I tried not to say that out loud. To late. He sighed in frustration. "Because has something personal to do." Warren said. I just shook my head an rolled my eyes. Me and Scott stayed quiet for a while, while warren and Bella talked up a storm. I decided to talk to him, I needed to ask him, alone what's up with him. Why he's acting like this. Then we pulled up to the party.
It was dark. With rainbow lights going every which way. Drinks filled tables and empty beer cans lie everywhere. It was held at Amy's house, which was of course a great big mansion. It was inside and out. No one was loud upstairs but everyone knew why. That was for... Special time. Let me just say it like that. Warren and Bella walked in holding hands. I was pissed at warren for not telling me what was up. I needed to get Scott alone and ask him. But it seemed like every time I did that he was around Amy. She was touching him in his chest, shoulders. He didn't really pull away much. But every time I yelled his name he would abandon her to come over to me. "Hey umm......can I talk to you? In private?" I asked. He nodded his head. "Yea sure." We were about to go to the car but warren and Bella popped up. "Come on guys, dance!" SHe yelled over the crowd. The next thing I knew me and Scott were being pressed up against each other and dancing our asses off. Our hands and arms flew in the air. Our chest were pressed against each others and Im not going to lie and say I didn't like it. We were smiling as the music got louder and the dancing got more and more wild. We had, had a couple drinks. But who knows.
The party stayed like that for about an hour before it died down some. Warren and Bella went upstairs. Once we weren't dancing wildly and pressed into each other I looked up to him. But he wasn't there. I saw his thick brown locks of hair storm out the door. I ran to catch up to him. He went out the back so no one was there. There was a forest back there. "Scott?" I asked. He gripped his hair as if he wanted to pull it out. And was bent over like hunchback and noter dam. "Go away Brenda." His voice had changed. It was still his voice but now it had something different in it. I couldn't place my finger on it though. He let his hands off his head and his back arched in the opposite direction. He fell to his knees then his hands. I ran over to him. "Scott? Oh my gosh are you okay?" I asked. His head spun so fast to look at me. "Go away!" He yelled. But that wasn't what made me jump back. It was his eyes. Blood red. As he sat there on hands and knees warren pulled me inside. I true my best to get to Scott. I was about to get my answer. And warren took that away from me. "What the hell are you doing?" He asked. I yanked my hand out of his grip and went for the door. I grabbed the handle and pulled. But his hand fell on the door and shut it. Man was he strong because I couldn't get them off. "Stop warren something's wrong with him." I said still trying to Pry the door open. "He's sick Brenda. Keep enjoying the party while you can. He's going home." Warren didn't move his hand from the door. I finally gave up and turned to see his face. "He's not sick. It's something else. And if you two aren't going to tell me then I can figure it out perfectly on my own. So make it the easy way, or the hard way. Your choice." I said. He sighed. "If he hurts you just remember I warned you." He said letting go of the door. I opened it and Scott wasn't there anymore. Just dark grass laid in the yard with the forest not to far away. "Scott!" I yelled. No answer. "Scott!" I repeated. "Are you okay?" I asked not sure if he was around. But I could just tell he was. But I couldn't tell where. It was quiet. I looked in the woods and I thought I saw bright blue eyes glistening in the darkness of the night. An a faint growl. I gasped. A dark shaded wolf came out of the forest slowly. It looked exactly like the one I had ran Into the other day. Even the bright blue eyes. Except for one big detail. It was as tall as me. It didn't have it's mouth open or look like it was ready to attack me. But it did have some blood from its jaw. It was beautiful. I had no idea why to call it. A giant wolf I guess. I walk slowly up I it. I put my hand out, palm up, like it was a horse. So it could get my sense. It didn't bother to smell my hand. It moved his head to where I was now petting it. It had soft brown and black fur. Soft as human hair. As I stand right in front of it it didn't take its eyes off me. It's bright blue eyes were the most thing that stood out of the whole animal. Even with the height. I slid my hand down its neck one last time before warren appeared. "Wow Scott. I wouldn't have thought you wouldn't have killed her on your first night. I thought you'd be done devouring her by now. Guess I thought wrong." He smirked as he walked up to the wolf. "What are you talking about?" I asked. Warren smiled for real this time. "Let me show you." He jumped into the air like he was about to jump into a pool. As he flew through the air his human body changed into the same shape as the brown haired wolf. His blonde hair turned to fur covering his body. His shirt ripped off. I gasped. The brown wolf looked down at the ground. "What?" I asked. He new formed wolf, or warren, walked up in front of me as the other wolf stood shamely beside me. I hadn't noticed until now that my hand rested on its back. Which was stomach high. I could barely bend down and hug his back. Gosh knows I can't wrap my arms around his whole body and touch my other hand. Warren changed back to normal. His human body turned up with no shirt. His muscles showed now. I try I make myself not stare. "What just happened?" I asked. "Well this is not just a regular wolf Brenda, this is Scott. And for the first year he's a wolf, he can't control when he changes. When he gets mad. When some thing raises his pulse, or when the full moon hits." He held his arms up toward the sky. This cant be true. But I just saw it. But there isint such thins as a "werewolf." Warren spat. Was he reading my mind or something? "That must be what your thinking? Your correct on that term. He is doing really good for this being his first full moon." I looked over at the brown haired wolf, or Scott which I just now figured out. "So he ant control it?" I asked. "Nope, and I think the reason your not dead right now is because he finally tasted blood. He's always going to want to. I can tell its animal blood. Which is good because he usually won't eat a human. Same as me. I eat animals, not humans. Although its been very tempting." I was speechless. Out of all questions this is the one I ask. "When will he go back to normal." I slid my hand down Scott's neck and back. Then repeated. "By tomorrow morning. But after that it will be really easy to piss him off." Then at the wort time, Isabella walks out.
