Chapter 4 "What went wrong"

Annabeth smiled into the mirror, everything was perfect! Just perfect! She had a beautiful dress, Hazel and Piper had bridesmaid dresses, and Percy seemed to have found a nice tux to wear.

Annabeth didn't realize but soon her whole world would come crashing down.

Meanwhile Percy was missing Annabeth. Annabeth had insisted she that Percy cannot see the wedding dress until the day of the wedding, so of course Percy went to the ocean.

He swam under the water for quite some time, he loved the coral and the colorful fish that floated by. Suddenly Percy had an idea. He immediately called Annabeth.

"Annabeth you there?"

"Yes I'm here seaweed brain." She laughed.

"I have the PERFECT idea for the location of the wedding!"

"Oh really what is it?" Annabeth questioned

"It's AHH-"

The phone call ended abruptly leaving Annabeth speechless.

"Percy!" She called, "PERCY?!"

Percy had vanished, she called the number many times, no answer. Immediately she called the others. They met up at the beach. Annabeth quickly told them the story of the phone call.

Leo, Piper, Hazel, Jason, Frank, and Calypso could see the worry in Annbeth's eyes. Everyone quickly spread out.

Frank morphed into a dolphin and dove to the ocean while Piper and Jason huddled in a column of air then dove into the water. Hazel spread magic, reaching out to many sources to find their friend.

Percy's vision clouded. A cloud of ink blackness engulfed him. Then he was knocked out.

"Wha..? Where am I?" Percy said groggily as he sat up. "What happened?" His eyes blinked sleepily. He was in a cave under water. "Oh don't worry about this," said a cold voice, "worry about your girlfriend!" "WHAT DID YOU DO TO ANNABETH?!" Percy roared.

Annabeth was the light of his life, he cannot lose her. "She is safe for now but only because I haven't gotten to her! Right now her world is crashing down, and I have a SPECIAL surprise for her!" The voice snickered and Percy pulled out Riptide.

"WHERE ARE YOU?!" Percy shouted,"COME OUT AND FACE ME YOU COWARD!"

"Do you think I'm stupid?!" Laughed the voice, "I've heard all about you, there is enough power in those veins to slay a God!" The voice paused, "and I intend to use it."
