When the war is over (Percy Jackson fan fic)

Chapter one "The Big Day"

Percy woke with a start. "Uuuuuuggghhh" He groaned. He was still thinking about what he was going to do.
"What if I mess up?" He thought, "What if she says no?" No! He would not be upset, he would NOT think these thoughts. Today was going to be perfect. He prayed to his dad last night asking for everything to go smoothly. But his plan had MAJOR flaws. Percy still had troubles with the trick. Sometimes it spells "Sarah" sometimes "Ella" and once it even spelled "Jake"! He had only got it right about five times, which would be good if he hadn't tried at least a hundred times.

Nevertheless, he got up and got moving. Percy dressed in his nicest clothes hoping nothing would go wrong. "Leo!" He yelled when he saw Valdez around the corner. "Is it ready?" He asked nervously. "Of course it is! I'm LEO." said Leo proudly. "Fine whatever, let's get moving." Said Percy rolling his eyes. "HEY wait up!" Yelled someone from behind them. "Your coming too?!" Remarked Percy. "Well duh, I'm the daughter of Aphrodite! I can't miss this!" Said Piper.

Percy sighed, "Fine, but don't let her see! It's only supposed to be the two of us." "Ok, ok" groaned Piper. They piled in the car and set off. After what seemed like forever they arrived at the beach. "Can't wait to watch you screw up!" Joked Leo. Percy narrowed his eyes and summoned some water to drench Leo. "Ok, ok I'm SORRY!" Said a soaked Leo. Leo hid in the bushes with Piper. He had the Valdezinater ready in his hand.

"Percy!" Screeched Piper, "Hazel texted me! She's on her way!!!" "Uh oh," Percy groaned, "WORK FASTER PEOPLE!!" He yelled! He quickly summoned a large wave that hovered over the beach, all the mortals screamed and ran. When they were gone he pushed the wave back to the ocean.
"Ok, good. Now it will just be the two of us" he murmured. "Was that really necessary Percy?!" Piper yelled. "Yes!" Snapped Percy, " I need her alone."

"Is everyone ready?" Asked Percy. "Ready!" Called Piper and Leo at the same time. "Jinx!" Called Leo. "Ugh, seriously?" Said Piper, annoyed. "She's almost here! Stop messing around!" Called Percy. Piper raised her eyebrows, "Did you switch bodies with someone practical or something...?" She murmured "I heard that!" Called Percy. Percy stood on the beach nervously practicing the trick and waiting for Annabeth.
