Chapter 2

North's engagement ring-^

North POV:

"Walter am so hungry, is there anything in the kitchen to eat?" Lonnie asked Mr. Meyers, "Aunt May is putting something together to eat" he informs him.

Lonnie walked off towards the kitchen, "why does that sounds like a terrorist threat to me?" He asked while looking back at us.

"Say another damn thing Lonnie! Your ass will be womp in here tonight" Aunt May shouts from the kitchen having heard what he said.

"Am going to make sure these two don't kill each other" Sonya says walking towards the kitchen, "am going to put my bags away" I told the others and began to move towards the stairs that Cameron (Sonya's son) came down.

"Grandpa can we please turn on roof top Santa? When are we going to turn it on?" He asked immediately.

"Aww, am sorry buddy buddy but I couldn't get it to work this year" Mr. Meyers informed him as I stood beside Cameron who hugged me.

Out of nowhere Lonnie came out of the kitchen, "well you know when I left the league, I dabbled in electronics. You know what that means? That means am going to have to Santa working in no time" Lonnie informs Cameron.

"When he breaks his neck let me know, that I can't miss" I whispered to Cameron who laughed and help me with my bags up the rest of the stairs.

"Uncle Lonnie is going to fix roof top Santa!" Cam shouts up the stairs so the others could hear.

"Where's Uncle Evan?" Cameron asked once we got to Evan's bedroom, "he's on his way, he had a practice, come on, I want to see Niya and Dee" I told him and we went to the basement where the other kids are.

A Few Hours Later

We all gathered in the dining room looking at the dining table that is full of weird looking food that Aunt May prepared for us. Niya (Rachel's daughter) kept on taking pictures of the food and making disgusting faces at it while posting it.

"Tag me it those" I whispered to her, she smiled at me and nod, but moved away from the table when Aunt May enter the dining room.

"Sorry I took so long with dinner, I hope y'all ready, I know y'all hungry from all that traveling so I put something together for y'all" She says smiling.

"Awww you shouldn't have" Mr. Meyers says, "you shouldn't have gone through all that trouble Aunt May" Sonya says smiling.

"Baby this was no trouble at all, y'all are my family. Now this right here is my spice mom bean winter casserole" Aunt May says proudly pointing at a dish.

Yeah that's gonna make me sick, I rubbed my nose so I wouldn't inhale it. "I got that from Mike and Tina Turner, 1972. Right here is my Korean dried squid salad with authentic kimchee, Mack Jagger, 1983, woo that was a special tour" she says pointing at another dish.

"This looks like all the ingredients to vomit" Lonnie whispered but we all heard him except Aunt May.

"And this right here is Aunts May's prize possession, I put my foot in this. This is my potato salad, from Poland, pickled fish, duck sausage with mayonnaise, and to wash it all down some milk tea with boiled tavioli balls. Lionel Richie gave me that one, yes" she says proudly.

No one said anything for a while so I walked forward and took up the tea that's in a tall glass cup with a red straw.

"North" Rachel says shaking her head no at me, I just shrugged and drank it anyways.

Surprisingly it wasn't all that bad, Dee turned her head away into her mom's shirt, "who wants pizza?" Lonnie says immediately after and everyone began to give there other including myself.

Just because I tried the tea doesn't mean am going to try the food.

"Wait a minute, wait a minute, kids, your Aunt May went through a lot of trouble preparing this food, the lease we could do is eat this..... what's this?" Mr. Meyers asked pointing at a dish.

"Thank you Walter, cause this right here is my spice mombean winter casserole with a hint of..." she got cut of by Christian "spam" he says guessing.

"Lib burger cheese" Rachel guessed as well, "baby lotion" Lonnie added.

"Y'all remind my ass when to laugh ok" Aunt May says upset.

"Aunt May, this looks like a million bucks" Sonya says being nice, as I finish drinking off my tea, "and Cameron is going to be the first one to try it" she say throw her son under the bus.

I start to feel light head a bit so I held onto the back on the dinning room chair.

"Why do I have to eat it? I didn't do anything wrong" Cam says immediately and confused, "don't talk back to your mother" Christian says.

"Why can't you eat it?" Cam asked him, "don't talk back to your daddy" Sonya says taking up a small dish for him to eat.

"Here we go, just a little taste to start off the celebrations" Sonya says, "I don't want to die" Cam says and locking his mouth.

Christian ended up having to force his mouth open for Sonya to push the food in. As soon as he started to chew he ran off to the bathroom with Dee right behind him, "you ungrateful bastards!" Aunt May exclaim.

"I think am gonna be sick" I said hold my stomach.

"I know damn well it ain't my food! So get your ass a pregnancy test before blaming my food!" She yelled at me as I ran off to the closest bathroom to the dining room.

A Few Minutes Later

"Haayyyy!! 88 in the house! Are y'all fighting already?!" I heard Evan's voice yelled as I threw up again.

I few minutes later I exit the bathroom after I brush my teeth and went to the stairs where all the Meyers kids are located. I stood next to Evan and he kiss me on the head smiling as Aunt May came to the staircase as well.
