Levi's POV

"Y/N! Hey cadet L/N!" I shouted, its weird since she didn't come to breakfast. I feel bad if I didn't tell her and she's acting kind of strange. But this is a meeting to discuss her matter.

"Yes, shorty?" She said looking away from me And where did that attitude came from?

"Im not able to be with you guys on training instead Hanji and my squad members will be there except for Petra since she'll be on the meeting with me and Erwin" I said and she sighs and nods. She walks away silently not a word, I was expecting more of a reaction I guess..

Shit what am I saying? Since when have I been clingy? Okay whatever that doesn't matter now. What matter is this meeting and what about the siren that Petra knows.

"Levi good for you to finally arrive" Erwin said and Petra was sitting on the chair fidgeting her fingers. She's wearing a scarf just like I ask her to. I walked to her made her stand up and remove the scarf showing the X mark last night.

"So its true Petra?" Erwin asked and I hold her tight so she won't ran or do anytging stupid.

"C-captain! W-what's this about?! I don't even know why Im here!" She shouted and I flicked my toung.

"The mark on your neck tells it all" I said and she shivers.

"Y-you can't do this to me! I was protecting you!" She said and I glared at her. I do not need protection.

"Petra tell us everything you know or you'll be locked up" Erwin said and I throw her roughly against the chair.

"That's enough Levi" Erwin said.

"Tch, tell us what you didn't tell me last night. How do you know this? Are you related to the kidnappers and what is this about the Siren legends?" I asked and her eyes flickered through the room.

"Its a family legend" She finally answered and I exchange glances with Erwin.

"Her mother is a Siren.. an original siren that is from a place beyond the walls that I myself is not sure of. The legend says that a siren is a man-eating creature and uses man to maintain their looks as human beings. Or not they'll turn into a.. bird" She said and I was confused. I look at Erwin waiting for him to response.

"How do you know her mother? And this family legend how do you know it?" Erwin asked.

"I-I don't remember but my ancestors was related with a hypnosis. A-and they know about this and shares the same goal which is to capture one and experiment it to its finest" Petra said. I look at her with disgust and asked her

"What about that no one could have sex with her or not they'll die?" I asked the question that was lingering in my mind since the second she told me. Erwin shot a look at me and look back at Petra.

"Legend says that sirens did not live long and has the expand of life for 18 years. They need to lose their virginity to someone who is a lot older then them and continue living to the age of the man that she loves. Her mother was the first siren to ever be seen and has lived for 40 years. It was a legend between two siblings that had the same face features made the maiden fall in love with one and killed him who was forthy. The other continue on and pretend to be the first who died. And that was how Y/N was born unlike the other sirens who were cursed people and live somewhere. She was born and was a special case that no one knew why" Petra said and then look at me.
