Chase started to pick up his jewelry to his hands, making sure his pendant isn't there as well.
"Wh..what are you doing?" Charli asked him.
"Nothing I just.. um.. it got boring haha so let's do something else.."
"Chase are you o.. okay never mind.. what do you want to do then?"
"I... I don't know.."
Charli laughed "okay let's go outside, to the park"
"S..sure" chase was still shocked he actually found her, he didn't know when he will tell her he has a pendant too.
"Where are you going?" Dixie asked them when they were about to open the door.
"To the park" Sharon responded
"Alone?"
"Yes, why?"
"Oooooo" dixie smiled and Chase blushed.
"Ugh" charli sighed and opened the door "goodbye dixie"
"Byeee! Have fun.."
"DIXIE STOP!" charli yelled to her after she closed the door.
"Soooo... do you wear this pendant all the time?"
"Yes. Except when I'm showering."
"So how didn't I notice it?"
"What?" She looked at him.
"What?"
"Huh? You're weird today."
When they reached the park they sat on the first bench they saw but said nothing. They didn't talk for 5 minutes but then charli taped on chase's shoulder really quickly. "Chase, chase, chase!!"
"What?!"
"Look!!"
Chase turned around and saw MRS. Wilson walking toward them. "OH NO OH NO OH NO"
"Chase and charli!" Mrs. Wilson said.
"Hi," they both said, trying to fake a smile and waving their hands. "What are you doing here Mrs. Wilson?" Chase asked her.
"Just to take a walk outside" she looked at the sky. "What are you guys doing here?"
"We-"
"Oh are you guys a couple? So cute!"
"Oh my god, why does every- NO. we are not a couple."
"Oh. Well, you'll be very cute together" she winked at us and left.
"THIS IS SO AWKWARD. WHY DO PEOPLE ALWAYS ASK THAT?!" charli said to chase, she noticed chase is more red than usual. "What happened?"
"Wh..what? Nothing happened wh..why are you asking..?" He asked nervously
"Are you okay? You're red as a tomato."
"What?" He said and touched his face and turned redder. Charli put his hand on his hand, he got butterflies. "Chase are you alright?"
"Haha yeah ofc haha"
"You're so weird today."
They talked for few more minutes and then decided to go back home.
"Have you already kissed?!" Dixie screamed to them when they came home.
"DIXIE I SWEAR TO GOD-" charli said angrily and took chase's hand and grabbed him upstairs. They sit on her bed and charli said: "I'm so sorry for all of this... I'm sure it's very awkward for you.."
"Yes... PRETTY awkward.." he looked down.
"Like, we are just best friends-"
"We are?" Chase said
"Yes? Aren't we?"
"Ye..yeah I guess."
"We are just best friends! Why can't people see a girl and a boy without telling they are dating?"
"I don't know." He looked to the other side when he said that.
"DINER'S READY!" Heidi yelled from downstairs.
"When did she got home?" Charli said and went downstairs with chase.
They sat next to the table and started eating with Charli's family and another woman chase didn't know.
"Meet Emma, she came to LA and she needs your room, chase, for one day. Is it okay if you'll sleep only today in Charli's room? She has a big bed you'll feel comfortable."
"In..in her bed?"
"Yes? Do you have a problem?"
Chase was really grateful to the damelios, that was so nice of them to let him live in their house for a month. He couldn't tell her no.
"Yes.. no problem."
"Hope you two gonna have fun.." dixie said.
"DIXIE!" Heidi and charli yelled at her.
"Okay okay.. sorry" she smiled.
