when I'll see you again

chapter 8

"I.. I.." he couldn't talk. "Madi invited me." His face was hot as the sun.
Charli looked at him really confused, but she remembered what he has done and turned around back to the party. Suddenly someone grabbed Charli's hand to a table full of alcohol. "I'm not drinking," she said and was about to go but the boy grabbed her back to the table. "DRINK, DRINK, DRINK" she looked at everyone around the table. They were drunk. Suddenly she felt someone starting touching her butt. She turned around and slapped him on his cheek. "IDIOT" she yelled and left the table she ran upstairs to Madi's room, barely breathing or seeing where she's going, the room was really dark. She sat on the bed and lying on it closing her eyes. She turns around to the side and threw her hand on the bed. "OW" she opened her eyes. And saw chase lying on the other side of the bed, feeling his chest. "THAT HURT"
Charli didn't even say sorry, she stood up and tried opening the door.
IT'S LOCKED. 
"OPEN YOU STUPID DOOR" she murmured madly to herself, she pulled hard on the doorknob, she definitely didn't want to stay with this liar inside this dark room. But by the force of the pull, the doorknob came out of its place and left Charli and Chase imprisoned inside Maddi's room. "YOU'RE KIDDING."
"Charli, can we please talk?" This friendship was really important to chase, charli was important to him.
"NO, WE CAN NOT TALK. HELP! HELP!" Charli screamed,  hitting the door.
"You're wasting your time. The music is too loud.
"URGHHHHHHH" she screamed.
"Ch-" but charli started crying before he could continue his sentence. She sat down next to the door and cried to her hands. She didn't cry just because of the door, she also cried because she loves him and she tries to convince herself it's a lie this whole evening. 
"Why are you crying?"
"WHY WOULD YOU CARE?" Chase looked offended. "Of course I care. Can we talk about what happened yesterday?"
"Do I have a choice?" she looked at him.
"No."
"So why are you asking,"
Chase sighed and began feeling things on his way to charli in the darkroom until he sat next to her "I really did not mean to hurt you. I truly think you're an amazing person. I was shocked, you can't blame me. I found you, you're my soulmate. And I-" charli kissed him, not too hard and not too soft, her lips were full with love. He opened his eyes at first, he was very surprised by the situation but then closed them and felt the kiss.  He put all his passion for love into it, and believe it or not he had a lot of it. Chase put his hand on her neck, under her hair, and his second hand on her waist, charli put her hands around chase's neck, feeling his pendant. She put her head on his shoulder, still feeling the pendant.  "You didn't take it off, didn't you?"
"Never" he smiled and hugged her as tight as he could.
"I love everything about you," Chase said.
"You know why?"
"Why?"
"Because we are soulmates"
Chase laughed softly.
"OH MY GOD! CHARLI, CHASE, ARE YOU OKAY?!" Madi opened the door really fast. "Oh. Are you.. are you?"
Chase and charli looked at each other and laughed.
"Are we what?" Chase said and smiled at charli "oh... I got you... yes, we are besties again" Madi looked confused and charli and chase laughed.
