hey! so this is something like my fourth poetry book on wattpad. you can't find two or three anymore, but the first one (dark poetry) is still here and is currently at 70k reads.

i started writing dark poetry almost three years ago in january, 2018. i was a little baby writer and i had no idea what i was doing. the fact that it's doing so well scares me because i now have strangers or even close friends looking at poems from when i was depressed amateur. that's why i took it upon myself to start this — a new beginning. a chance to remind the world that i am more than my past.

the title "starless city" is supposed to symbolise a lack of hope in dark places. i live in a big city, and i like to remind myself that even if the city lights wipe out the stars, that doesn't mean that they aren't there. and even if i can't see a silver lining in a bad situation, it doesn't mean it's not there.

although this book will mostly feature new poems, some of my favourites from my first three poetry books will be in here as well.
please be patient with me. even though i've been writing for so many years, i'm still young and i have so much room to grow. point out spelling mistakes if there are any, and correct me when i'm wrong, but don't be rude or unkind.

disclaimer: this book may cover confronting topics such as mental illnesses or suicide. please read at your own discretion.
