Sabrina takes a exhale in making her her cheeks in the middle go into a fish and then exhales through her nose making a loud sigh out by the third time her face relaxes; the noise she makes goes into numbers. She sits across from me cross legged making sure I am copping her in how to do Box Breathing in any suggestions that I feel angry, overwhelmed or sad. Basically everything I feel I need to make sure I don't transform into something. "Its not always like this" I remember Sabrina saying while practicing night vision while tracking through the woods with her boyfriend William who seems very to himself. He had commented a few times through running drills but it was only smart ass jokes that made Sabrina nod her head and laugh. "You are fire proof but does not mean you should or can walk into a building that is on fire; it will only set it off more; that I know from experience" Her face frowns making her smooth skin turn into wrinkles slightly at the side of her eyebrows but then nods her head shaking it off. A car honks sending me back to the present. I give him the rude finger while I end walking out of the pedestrian crossing. The day is warm and sunny but the buildings in the this town are much taller; blocking the sunshine to come through. It takes another five minutes to found the building where I have a job interview; I enter through a golden spinning door that people are coming in and out from. I'd make sure I looked the part for today; Sabrina paid for what I feel is a formal rich girls dress. Dark blue dress, white smooth buttons going along the sides and a matching pair of blue flats that I choose to wear because for god's sake I would break my nose if I'd wear one she suggested. I hate owing people so when I get a job that'll be my first thing to do plus pay for University. Now that I know Drake is no longer paying for it. Life is a bitch I remember my mother saying when I was younger when I'd scrape my knee from climbing a tree. I push the elevator button to go up while a few others beside me wait and then the door opens. Gold theme elevators with black buttons and white numbers. It reminded me of a place where they play games for money back at my home its called a Casino but this was only a Insider News building filled with talent writers; where they write in magazines and new letters called Glamour. Exiting the elevator two males exits with me but they go the opposite side. The front desk is long and it has nice decorative flowers; shades of green and yellow throughout it. The flowers are onto the right side almost covering a blonde lady who is smiling and talking on the phone while writing onto the computer. "Hello can I help you?" A man stare's at me with curious eyes that makes my cheeks warm up. " I am here for the administrative assistant role; my name is Fiona" He nods his head and waves me away to the direction where I take a sit by the left side were the are five other people waiting. Sabrina hair goes pale white and so does her hands; its like a wave going through her body and then a shock of four waves goes throughout her body shape shifting into a white owl. "You will need to change dorm rooms; No one can know about this but our circle" Sabrina makes owl noise's but I can still understand her. Changing dorm rooms will make things suspicious but I understand that if Lisa, Daisy or the other girls it find out that would not be good. "You are never alone" Sabina flaps her white smooth wings to steady her self on a tree branch. It feels strange; maybe I haven't came to terms that I am apart of this; considering it had happened only a few hours ago. I remember my lips moving. "How? I don't deserve to be in the circle" I pause not finishing. "The dragon in you, did" Sabrina takes off into the night sky. Someone calls out my name; I walk into a office that someone on the other side opens for me. I take a sit ready to impress. Well at least try too. After half an hour the meeting was done. I go to four other job interviews that are base on the same job role; they all felt shorter and reparative. On the fifth job interview that was surprisingly three blocks away from Stanford University. The building wasn't tall but wide with a medium side window at the front with a blue chair with yellow flowers in a red vase. It looked very colorful. I enter through the doors wearing an actual real smile on my lips. The rooms energy is refreshing and warm. After ten minutes into the interview the girl welcomes me as her Administrative Assistant starting this following Monday. Starting part time every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. I get a text message from Alice saying she has landed and she's off planning her trip to Italy. Everything seems to be going good what seems to be in my normal human life. I go past a bike shop that is two blokes up. After two hours of founding the right bike I pay it with cash that my mother gave me for a emergencies only. I guess this is one of them. I thank the man for helping me out of the shop with my bike and ride it to the campus. It takes me twenty minutes to reach the University front garden yard. Getting off my bike some one tap onto my back wheel. " Hey, nice bike" Daisy taps on the back wheel again that I found it annoys me. "Yeah thanks, what's up?" I slide my bike into the bike bars and chain it up. "Oh nothing, Lisa and I are going clubbing tonight; want to come?" Daisy's belly button is on show, it is no longer a heart but a spider with webs on it. I nod my head taking my helmet off. "Oh come on stop being lame!" She pushes me on the shoulder. I feel my skin heat up. "Did you color your hair?" Daisy pushes open the door to the girls dorms hallway. "Yeah, you like it?" I lie knowing the second change to my powers. Daisy turns around and then pouts her lips out. "No, not really you seem dull" This is were Sabrina's Box Breathing needed to done. I knew Daisy wouldn't lie but telling the truth is sometimes not best. She is coming off rude. A shoot of chill burns on my tongue that I am ready to spit in her face. "I guess you'll get use to it" My voice sounds like another person. Box Breathing through the hallway by the time I get to the door the warmth goes and my tongue no longer wants to exit my mouth. "Hey Fiona" Lisa waves at me putting my things into a cardboard box. "Your sister just came past, funny you hadn't mention her she is quite funny; she had told me that your swiping dorm rooms due to being sensitive to sun; explains why you always have the curtains closed" I nod agreeing to what Sabrina had said even though it was half of the truth. Suns warmth linked in with my emotions that I might randomly heat up. Daisy get's a small brown box leaning it on her right side of her hip while she puts a blue lollipop into her mouth with the other hand. Lisa follows her grabbing a medium size box and then I grab the last box off my bed with my helmet closing the door behind us. "Who's going to be your roomie?" I ask in a curious voice "Don't worry about me, I'm more worried about who's going to be yours?" Daisy half giggles and snorts as Lisa slaps her right shoulder going upstairs. "She'll be fine and so will I!" Lisa winks at me making another turn to the right and then goes to the third door to the left side. Number seventeen. She unlocks it and opens the door hitting a desk. "Hey! Watch it!" Someone screams in a high pitch. Lisa says sorry giggling slightly while Daisy puts the box onto my bed which is off to the left side. "Hello I'm Fiona, your new roommate" I put the box down next to the other two boxes and give her a hand shake but she completely misses it. "My name is Anne" Her hair is long and shiny. Anne wears sunglasses. She gets up from her desk picking up a stick. That's when it hit me. She was blind. Daisy and Lisa start giggling trying not to start laughing out loud but they don't last long. She turns her head both ways to Lisa and Daisy. "I may be blind but I am not deaf; May I ask for your friends to get out" I elbow them both as they exit the room. "I'm sorry about that, they can be immature at times" I sound like my mother. Anne nods her head and puts her fingers along a book that is very thick on her desk. Her side of the room is very neat with only one poster up on the wall that has Chinese writing on it and her bed head has a small red dream catcher on it with triangle mirrors hanging from it. Her bed sheet's are grey with only one white pillow. She'll have a rude awakening to how much pillows I will have on my bed; keeping mind not to leave them on the floor for her to trip over on. I pull out my hippy colorful bed covers making my bed and then start putting my things away from each boxes. It takes me a few hours. Anne still readings remains from drinking out of her water bottle and chewing on a chocolate bar. She doesn't get off her chair until it hits four O'clock when she tells me she's going to the library. She walks around the room like a professional; into the bathroom and out with new fresh clothes. She picks up her stick by the bedside and walks out with it touching the floor in front but the stick knocks into my runners making her stop. "If your going to leave things on the floor please let me know" She stare's straight in front with no emotions but then gives me a small smile. "Oh yes sorry" I quickly say pulling the runners out of her way under my bed. Sabrina may think that I will not be able to control this what I am but so far I have. The expressions on her face showed during our training. I only failed in two; which was running track and speed. I am to quick with my movements even if I didn't feel like I wasn't going that fast. Its a safe idea that Sabrina put me with a blind person but it doesn't excuse me from doing anything of what Sabrina had not told me to do. Don't run into fire. Don't' transform in open area's and don't live for revenge. Love and accept yourself. The last one is kind of hard. Love myself, for who I was or am? What am I? Accept this new fate of mine, I could do but myself. I don't know what I have become. A dragon within me or Fiona reborn no longer a wolf but a shape shifter. It's so much to understand that I cant wrap my finger around it. "You will understand in your own time" I remember Sabina saying transforming back into her human form. Anne slams the door waking me up from my day dream. I head to my creative writing class, the sky darkens that makes the garden yard lights turn on making me see Peter, he walks with Hunter and Charlie at both of his side. I don't see his face just as yet but I can smell his scent, cinnamon mix in with a pinch of coffee. His purple eye's catch me but I keep moving on feeling the hole in my chest dig in deeper. His lips have a few cuts on them and his right eye is bruised up but not swollen. His blonde her is messy and his skin seems more glossy then normal. What I had done to Peter, I wouldn't forgive me if I was him. Sabrina's words travel in my mind. "Love and accept yourself" This is going to be hard to do. I hate myself for what I'd done to him. A second chance, I feel like I robbed it. I open the doors to enter into the class room. Lisa waves my way while going into the third row to the front of the class. I take a sit next to the saved sit that Lisa had gotten for me.
