"Pho, Mae, I'm home. "The first thing that Gulf said when he entered his house. Tharn followed behind.
"Gulf!" Mae immediately hugged him. "Where did you hurt?" She kissed him, checking Gulf from head to toe.
"I'm fine mae, your son is a boy, it's gonna be weird if I never get into a fight." Luckily Gulf had time to wrap the scarf to cover the bruise around his neck. Gulf doesn't want her mae to worry.
"Gulf, your mae and pho never taught you violence, mae don't like that, you know it, right?!" The usually gentle mae this time was firm, but it was very visible because of worry. Gulf just smiled then nodded, as expected, Mae still worried.
"Where is pho?" asked Gulf.
"Your pho is upstairs, with Mr. Kirigun, they are waiting for both of you." then Mrs. Kanawut noticed Tharn. "Oh dear, you must be Tharn, thanks for calling us, you are now in school with Gulf?" Mae asked after hugging Tharn.
"No problem mam, and yes I spent my last year at Gulf school. Thanks for letting me visit, I really appreciate it."
Mae then hugged Tharn once again. "Whenever you want you you are welcomed here son, you are Gulf's senior, I hope we don't bother you to look after Gulf at school. He doesn't usually have problems like this."
"Mae, I'm still here, and I'm not a kid who needs a guard." Gulf interrupted with a pleading tone. "Oh dear, you will be always my little boy." said Mrs. Kirigun while kissing the boy's forehead once again and then his cheek, before inviting Tharn to come with Gulf to meet his father.
Tharn had been holding back from cursing at the dramatic lovey dovey scenes of Gulf and his mother's affection. Gulf Kanawut, you can enjoy it while you still can. Inner Tharn said.
