Thorn

The bell signaling the end of school rang, Gulf as usual immediately packed her things, left the classroom, approached Uncle Sam who had been seen from afar waiting in front of the school gates, when suddenly a car stopped in front of him.

"Gulf."  A man got out of the car and approached Gulf.

"Phi Thorn?"  The slightly surprised Gulf gave a slightly awkward smile.  So far, Gulf and Thorn follow each other on social media, unlike Tharn who doesn't have an account.

Despite knowing each other's news, Thorn and Gulf haven't spoken to each other in person since the last time they met at the party before Thorn fell from a horse, for some reason Gulf had tried to send a message several times when he first found Thorn on social media, Thorn never replied.

"You still recognize me?"  Thorn smiled happily.

"Sure Phi, I followed you on social media. I'm glad phi is okay." Gulf.

"Oh, I only upload photos occasionally and rarely open messages." Thorn had a slightly guilty expression on his face.

During this time Thorn's mother forbade him to have contact with Kanawut's family or friends of Thorn's father's other business partners. Since the first time Thorn has loved Gulf like his own brother. Unlike Tharn, his younger brother who is quiet and very difficult to approach, Gulf is very cheerful and fun even with people he just met.

Unlike other children his father introduced, Thorn paid special attention to Gulf because his father also cared for Gulf more than anyone else. His father wanted Thorn to take Gulf's trust as his father was trying with Mr. Kanawut at that time and reported every conversation and development of their closeness.

Knowing the little Gulf that Thorn thought was quite smart and the business competition that his father introduced him to today, Thorn intends to support Gulf until he inherits the KN Group, a business owned by Mr. Kanawut. Disorganized and perhaps a future co-worker, Thorn, who had no real interest in business, had little motivation, imagining supporting someone like Gulf to develop something. It wasn't until then that Thorn began to question his father's true intentions.

Mr. Kirigun taught Thorn the ins and outs of the KN Group, several times saying that the KN Group would become his, and Thorn needed to learn more to become his successor.

KN group is much bigger than Mr. Kirigun's company, and Mr. Kirigun is working on merging the KR Group with the KN Group.

Thorn slightly understood the concern his mother had been telling him about. All this time his father always said that his mother didn't need to know about company affairs. Thorn just needed to be close to his grandfather, Mr. Jongchevevat and his grandfather's co-workers, his father said that his grandfather was a great person, and Thorn needed to make more friends from his grandfather's circle as well. His mother would only worry and say useless things.

Thorn smiled every time he received a like notification or an incoming message from Gulf, but he was afraid to open it, afraid he couldn't stop himself from replying. Thorn was happy enough to see Gulf growing well from afar. 

This morning Thorn was looking through the photos of Gulf on social media one by one when his mother told him about Mr.  Kanawut and his father were going well without any incidents as he had feared.

Getting approval from his mother, Thorn immediately wanted to meet Gulf, seeing the closeness of Tharn and Gulf, his mother also wanted Thorn to watch over him.

"Can phi hug you Gulf?" Thorn who opened his arms missed him so much and wanted to do this from a long time ago. It used to be little Gulf who gave Thorn a hug several times when Thorn argued with his father.  Thorn never won over his father. Even in the absence of his mother Thorn tends to be afraid.
