Gulf

Staring at the decorative lights hanging on the roof of his room, he tried to close his eyes, but his mind couldn't get him to rest.

Gulf looked back at the white roof, the same roof since he'd first occupied his room. Only periodically cleaned and repainted with the same color, including the walls of the room. The furniture also hasn't changed much, if in the past Gulf had bookshelves and toys, now only bookshelves are left, only containing more fashion and sports magazines, especially soccer, changing toy shelves containing balls, shoe collections and some outfits from sponsors. Gulf is a simple person, once he likes something and has no interest in replacing it, he is more comfortable with things he is familiar with.

"You can be whatever you want." Phi Tharn said. Even so, he also likes doing new things.

Gulf flashed back to memories of the first and last time with Tharn.

He really likes football.  Many good memories with his pho in the midst of his busy work, which are then limited and can not be repeated again because of Pho's health condition.

Pho has been a hard worker since she was young. My grandmother told me about Pho, who used to live a difficult life, struggling from not having a home to realizing a dream house for his wife and children. His Pho doesn't want his child to feel the same way she used to. Pho wants to support Gulf whatever makes Gulf happy, Gulf, his only son.

At first, even though Pho gave him freedom, Gulf didn't think about what he liked or wanted to do, especially after meeting Phi Thorn, little Gulf understood that his father needed him someday.

Meeting with Tharn gave Gulf a little courage to think about what he liked.  Playing ball also makes Gulf find his best friends, Bright and Mild, his childhood friends.

The clever Gulf is also more or less still learning about the company.  Last Sunday was the second time Gulf had visited in place of his Pho for a meeting, though only to listen and report to his Pho. Gulf ensures that it has summarized and sorted out the things that need to be conveyed to Pho so that they can be immediately approved, or need to hold another meeting to consider them.

4 years ago while walking in the Mall a manager came to him, Gulf got an offer to cast a product advertisement.  Mae is very happy and supports Gulf to do so. Until now Gulf has appeared in several magazines and TV.  Not very often but Gulf enjoys doing it, having more people love him, having a small fanclub that always supports him.

Apart from wishing Pho could be even healthier Gulf was happy with what he had now.

His reunion with Phi Tharn today reminded Gulf again that he still has one thing to think about, did Gulf make a mistake at that time? he should have thought more about what he said first, he didn't know what Tharns were going through and what he was talking about.

Secretly Gulf listened to every Mr. Kirigun tells about his Children to Pho and Mae.  Even though Mr. Kirigun was sad that Thorn was like a stranger and continued to speak formally when he met each other.  But he was happy that Thorn was growing well, and chose to become a doctor. Although he wants his children to have a business like that, he respects his choice, is quite happy to see his son again.

What he was worried about was Tharn. He heard that Tharn had changed schools several times because he was causing trouble.

One day, after accompanying Pho from the hospital and Pho resting, Mr. Kirigun tells mae that when he finally met Tharn, Tharn said he just wanted to meet his father, by making all sorts of noise Tharn hoped the school would contact his father even though it never happened, but at least his father heard from him. Tharn is actually a good boy, he is smarter than other children his age, surely not many can understand him.  His mother even threatened to move him overseas when his encounter with him became known.

After that Mr. Kirigun did not dare to meet Tharn again, could only be in touch via a secret e-mail taught by Mr.  Kirigun to Tharn upon meeting, so that his mother does not know.  His ex-wife treats Tharn differently from Thorn.  Maybe because Tharn looked more like him, he said.  Mr.  Kanawut is worried that his ex-wife will take her disappointment out on him on Tharn.

Gulf saw the red marks on her wrists, touched her neck, still aching when slightly pressed, then held her hair against her forehead, trying to feel again when Tharn's hand touched hers, it felt the same, at the same time different, back then when Phi Tharn did it for the first time, warm  , but now Gulf can't define it.

Gulf didn't want to imagine what Phi Tharn had been through, but also wanted to know.

Gulf sighed for the umpteenth time.

Bzzzt, His phone suddenly vibrates, wakes up, Gulf sits back on his bed, a message arrives:

"Thanks for the ride, see you later."

Bzzzt:

"Your KhunPhi"

Bzzzt:

"You're thinking about me?"

Gulf stares at the message on his phone longer than he should, "phi Tharn?"  he thought.

Gulf hesitated to reply.  But his hand immediately typed:

"Phi Tharn? Where did phi get my number?"

Gulf waited but there was no reply.

"What does phi want?"

Still not getting a reply, Gulf put the phone back down.  His head hit the pillow again, then sat down again picking up his phone.  :

"Uhm, I'm thinking of you phi, I will help so that phi can meet with uncle kirigun more often."  -sent.

Bzzzt:
"Of course you have to help, this time I'll make sure you don't mess it up."

Bzzzt:
"I was thinking of you too."

Gulf fell silent again, not knowing what to reply.  Does phi hate me?  Gulf wanted to ask him, but was afraid of the answer, most likely yes.  Does phi Tharn know?  I don't know, Gulf tries to close his eyes again.
