Chapter 17: Oh My God!

Andy's POV

I can't believe that Ashley and Zoe went out. I did notice they were a bit more closer and he was acting all loved up.

I think now I am the only one who has hope that she is going to pull through. Everyone thinks she isn't going to make it but...I have this gut feeling, if you know what I mean?

I just hope she pulls through quickly. Jake wont stop blaming himself, Ashley wont talk to anyone after I found out about him and Zoe he only talks to Zoe, Jinxx wont smile, CC is just like a brocken toy he wont do a thting (which is not like him) and I am depressed but I will talk and everything but I just think she will pull through.

I was still sitting with Ashley by Zoe's bed. He was just sitting whispering to her. I couldnt make out what he was saying but he was broken and thats for sure.

"Do you want me to leave?" I asked him.

"You can stay if you want, im not that bothered."

"I will leave you with Zoe." I stood up and walked to the door. "Do you want the guys knowing about you and Zoe? They will know eventually and I do think now is a time for them to know. They all know something is up." I said grabbing the door handle.

"Do whatever you think is right, right now I cant think properly." He said looking up at me. I nodded and walked out. I closed the door behind me and started walking to where the guys were. I sat down and noticed that Jake was back.

"Hey" I said sitting down. "I need to tell you guys something, its about Ash." I said looking at the guys. I knew they were listening but they didnt really react. "Zoe and Ashley were a couple and that is why Ashley is taking it so hard. He really loved her and he thinks she is the one" I said. By the time I looked up again everyone was looking at me.

"Are you serious?" Jake said. He sounded a little angry but still sad at the same time.

"Yeah" I said.

"I need to go take a breath." Jake said standing up and walking out of the waiting room. Everyone else just went back to how they were before. Sammi was not smiling for once, she is always happy but I guess not now.

Ashley's POV

I could not leave her side. I wanted to be here until the end and I never wanted to leave.

"Zoe if you hear me, I want you to know I love you. Please wake up." I said. Just as i said that the heart beat monitor changed. It was slowing down. "No, No Zoe come on, come on Zoe dont go out on me please" I cried.

This cant happen. She, She is dead. I stood up and felt for a pulse in her wrist and I checked her neck too. There was nothing. I went to sit down but I just colapsed. I could do nothing but cry.

"NO! NO! ZOE!" I cried. I curled up into a ball and just cried. Just then the door burst open and the doctor ran throught the door. He ran across to her bed and started looking at the monuitor. Two nurses helped me up and took me outside the room. The nurses let go of me and I just colapsed onto the floor again. The guys must have known something was going on because they were all at the door in a matter of seconds. The nurses quickly ran back into the room and closed the door behind them.

"WHAT HAPPENED? IS SHE OKAY?" Jake cried at me. I couldnt stand up or stay up straight I was just in a pile on the ground. She was gone and now what will I do.

"Sh-sh-she is g-g-g-gone" I cried. Jake slid down the wall and cried into his knees. The rest of the guys just looked down. I noticed them wiping a few tears away. We all waked to the waiting area for the doctor coming back.

The doctor came back and he had a smile on his face.

"Miss. Pitts is awake now." He said looking at us all.

"But I heard the machine. It stopped. I even checked she had no pulse." I said standing up.

"The machine had a fault and you are very lucky peope. Many people who has been in her situatin has passed away. 1 in 10 people survive incodents like that." He smiled.

I felt my heart beat getting faster and it felt like a weight had just been taken off of my shoulders. I looked at the guys who had really big smiles on their face.

"When can we go in and see her?" CC said standing up next to me.

"You may all go in now but she is resting so be gental." He said walking away to his desk. At that we all got up and walked to her room. We all walked in slowly to see her sitting up in her bed.

"Hi" She said. She looked so happy and excited. We all ran across to her and gave her loads of hugs.

We all sat down in the seats around her bed. She was not really as weak as the doctor said. We spent so long there and we were all so happy she was awake again.
