Chapter 7: Alufeed

(Very sorry if I hurt any Alucard mains' feelings) T.T

  Granger was at the training hall acing his volley of bullets. Him aim was so impeccable, even the soldiers training with him were left with awe. That walls of the hall was specifically designed for gun practise. The soldiers were given strict regulations to use either the M9 or AK-47, but Granger could use any gun he wants as one of the privileges of the captain of the Ranged army. However, he would only stick to his handy handgun and death sonata. 

"This premises is off limits, Sire." 

Granger turned his head to the main door of the hall where the guards were talking to a yellow haired man. "Let him in, don't disturb me this time." Granger muttered nonchalantly at the last part. A confident looking man went through the doors and gave the guards a sharp glare. He donned a blue attire with a giant sword on his back, not to mention it was all bloody. "Just came back from hunting some demons, but I have something serious to announce."

  It was 3 minutes before the announcement begins in the Grand hall(not the Gun hall). The audience included the Lightborn soldiers except Alucard, princess Silvanna herself and other servicemen. "Soldiers, Princess, I have a serious announcement to make. There have been reports of demons moving towards Castle Gorge. Thankfully the soldiers and I have cleared every single filthy creature who dares to step into the Gorge premesis. I urge everyone to be more aware of any demons in the proximity." Alucard was putting on his serious face, and pointed at the pictures of demons shown on the big screen.

"Is he serious?" Even some soldiers were surprised, he would always squeeze in a pun or two in his speeches.

"This is the first time I saw him this serious." muttered Fanny, who was on the edge of her seat.

"Hm, Alufeed." Granger creaked a sly smile at Alucard's try-hard performance

"Isn't that where Ms Violet and the Perfumed Knight lives?" Silvanna was trying hard to recall that very day when she met up with the redhead.

3 days before the announcement

"This is a tracking device!" Guinevere handed the  black device to Silvanna. "This isn't the first time we had such reports. Now that they know our positions, I need to beg the Yin-Yang Geomancer to teleport us to another place." Guinevere seemed clueless, but pretended to be the smart alec. "Which means that we need to up our game right?"

"Your Highness, please stay out of this. The Moniyan troops and I will deal with them. Say...Lunox told me about your talent of magic." Guinevere felt noticed, she was borned with talent. The redhead had a devilish thought(as always). She hid her hand behind her back and a purplish aura emerged from her palms. She tilted her hands and Silvanna's lance was floating in the air, escaping from the Moniyan Knightness's hands.

"Impressive, some old habits just never change." Silvanna remembered her trial classes in the Magic Academy before her parents forced her to quit the school as they disliked the teachers. During that one trial class, 13 years old Silvanna was taught how to handle the amazing power in her lance. In the same training hall, Guinevere was practising telekinesis on a training dummy when she noticed the new student. Her lance was impressive-looking. The redhead hid her hand behind her back and with a tilt of her hand, the lance was seen hovering in the air, swinging and flying out of control. There was a indigo coloured atmosphere, which was created by the redhead herself. Professor Gord brought both of them to the principle's office. Silvanna was not angry, however, she was giggling at Guinevere's antics. That was first time she saw Guinevere in action.

Back at the Moniyan Empire

Silvanna went back to her office and cleared some reports, apparently the people of the land are never satisfied with Silvanna's rules. Just then, Alucard barraged at the door with his sword and sliced the door into shreds. Silvanna was utterly shocked at his actions but before she could recover, Alucard charged at Silvanna and tried to stab her. Thankfully, she was alert and narrowly dodged the attack. If you thought that that was it, think again. Alucard's eyes were glowing black like the night sky, with a face of a demon carved on his sword...
