Dreams [Chapter 5]

Darryl's pov 1st person

I wake up in an oddly familiar room that's not mine.

My old room...

I looked at my nightstand to my alarm clock and look at the time. 10:00 am. I hear my Mother yell my name downstairs and her telling me to come down.

"Y-yes, Mother..?" I ask.

She raises her left eyebrow in confusion.

"'Mother'?" She says, giggling after.

"That's new" She said, after giggling.

I smile awkwardly at her.

"Anyways, go get ready! Remember, were going to the park, as always" She said.

Park? I'm so confused..

I slightly nod and went back upstairs to my room. I spot a calendar and look at it.

"February, 14 2008" I read in my mind.

I'm guessing I'm in a dream..But it feels so real..I got an idea to really know if I was really in a dream. I pinched my wrist and I didn't feel anything..Yup! A dream.

"Darryl!, Honey?, Were gonna be late! I have an appointment to go to!" I heard my Mother yell out.

I quickly change out of my pj's and went down.

"S-sorry I took so long.." I said.

She kneels down and touched my cheek.

"Aww..It's okay, Darryl. Let's just go, okay?" She asks.

I slightly nod..I missed this mom..The one who actually cared for my feelings, gives me love, affection and attention..

"Okay! Let's go now, then" She says, as she heads to her car.

I simply tail her and went inside the car. We got there, for what felt like forever, and she drops me off. The park was very familiar..It was where I met Techno..

I walk around the park and quickly went to a spot where I'd always meet Technoblade.

Surprisingly, he was there.

"Hey, Dar- Badboyhalo! Happy Valentines Day!" He yelled, as he came up to me and hugged me.

I hugged him back.

"H-hey.." I say, as he pulls me out of the hug.

"What's wrong? Who took your yellow today? I'll beat them u-" He said, but I cut him off before he finished.

"N-no Techno it's okay, nobody took my y-yellow" I said, looking down.

I look up at him and I saw him frown.

"Hey! Cheer up! I'm here if you need someone to talk to, Bad!" He said, making me smile.

Why can't my life be like when I was younger..? Why did my parents have to ruin it for me?!

"Thanks Techno, that was really nice of you.." I said, looking down again.

I hear him sigh.

"C'mon! Let's go to the playground in the park! That always cheers you up when you're feeling blue!" He says in a happy-go-lucky tone.

I look up at him and smile.

"Sure!" I say.

He gently drags me out of our spot and we were heading to the play ground.

"Go sit down at the swing! I'll push you!" He say, cheerfully.

I quickly sat down at the swing and he pushed me, carefully.

"Why can't my life just be like this all over again?! I wish I never wake up.." I thought to myself.

*beeep*

I spoke too soon..
