To Love You Forever Rin x Reader (Part 3)

Here it is! The last chapter! Thank you SO much to @MochaHeichouu who helped me make the first scene, seriously you're an angel! Again, I'm so sorry it has to be this way (I'm not even sure if this is still a one-shot! It's so long!) I hope this was worth the wait!

-AT THE FESTIVAL-

It was a chilly bright night at the Cherry Blossom festival. Rin decided to buy candy apples for you and him. As you were eating, you spotted your friend and Sousuke. You waved at them and they waved back, " [f/n]! Rin!" [b/f/n] raised up her hand with another intertwined with hers. After the little greetings, Rin suggested something "The fireworks are showing soon, want to go up the stairs?" You raised an eyebrow "Stairs? What stairs?"

"The stairs to see the fireworks better, of course" He said, playfully nudging you on the shoulder. You laughed, then said "Sure. Why not?" He smiled and gave you a little peck on the cheek, grabbed your hand and followed [b/f/n] and Sousuke. The place you were going to was a hill that had a view of the festival that was by the ocean. The stairs were quite steep, so you had to hold onto your candy apple and Rin's hand tightly.

As the four of you reached the top, you all saw a Sakura tree and under it was a wooden bench. [b/f/n] jumped up and down at the amazing sight. "Wow! This is as if this place was made just for you guys," she focused your eyes on Rin and you."Why don't you and Rin sit there? Me and Sousuke will just find another bench" You looked at Sousuke and saw him nodding, indicating that he agrees with [b/f/n]. "S-sure" So they left, leaving you with Rin. After a moment of silence, he held out his hand to you, which you took.

He led you to the bench, you sat down and he followed. You instantly placed your head on his shoulder and observed the festival.

"Hey Rin" you said, he looked at you and replied "Yes?" "I love you" He smiled and said "I love you too" Then he kissed you.

A/N: Ok I'm so sorry for having a note in the middle of the story but if the sentence is bold and italicized then it's lyrics to a song, just so you won't get confused. Anyways, continue.

Suddenly you heard the sound of fireworks and broke the kiss to lift your head, you looked up at the sky and saw fireworks that spelled out "WILL YOU MARRY ME?" You smiled and said

"That girl is very lucky to have a guy like that, just like how I'm lucky to have you" You looked to your left and saw that your boyfriend wasn't there and at the corner of your eye, you saw that he was in front of you. You turned your head to face him and saw that he was on one knee with a beautiful ring. You covered your mouth, being close to tears for this was the greatest moment in your life.

This time I'm ready to run, escape from the city and follow the sun. Cause I wanna be yours dont you wanna be mine? I don't want to get lost in the dark of the night

"(f/n), I love you so much and I don't want to let you go. When your gone I'm completely lost in the dark, you are my light, my sun. when I'm down you're the cure, you're paradise"

This time I'm ready to run wherever you are is the place I belong

"I want to be where you are, because home is wherever I'm with you. My heart is yours to love, yours to break. Ever since we met, I knew you were the one for me and I hope I'm the one for you. Will you marry me?"

You looked around and realized that people were crowding around you two with smiles on their faces.

"Yes Rin I want to be with you forever" He smiled and stood up to place the ring on your finger, you examined it closely realizing that there were vines engraved on the ring leading to the top which had a red diamond and a/an (e/c) one intertwined, making it sparkle in every angle. To you, it meant that he will forever look after you whether it was annoyingly or sweetly. You hugged him tightly while everyone around you was clapping, after a while everyone walked away. You pushed back a little to put your forehead against his and said

"So, my new name is (f/n) Matsuoka?" he smiled and said "Yes" He placed his lips on yours, kissing you sweetly with the sound of fireworks at the background. As you both broke the kiss, he said

"Let's go home?"

"Sure, fiancèe" you winked and he smiled taking your hand, the hand that will always keep you both intertwined and safe in each other.

-BONUS!!!-

The next day

Friend: How was the proposal?
You: Oh my gosh! You saw us?!
Friend: Totally! It was Sousuke who triggered (idk if that's how you say it) the fireworks after all
You: Wait, so when you said that maybe he'll propose, you already knew?
Friend: No, I only found out last night, they didn't tell me cause they thought that I would end up telling you
You: Ahhhhh
Friend: All I wanna say is: I told you so!

Sup guys! OMG, how was it? I'm sorry that the festival scene was short. I was listening to 1D Ready To Run and I got inspired while doing this so that's why the lyrics are there. And I added the bonus scene cause I think it would be a little nice. IDK actually. I hope Rin wasn't OOC here. Okay, see you guys in the next one-shot!
