Mabel's POV
We arrived a little past 8pm cause it was hard convincing him to come home with me. As everyone was waiting for us to settle down ,he passed by and went straight into his room without a word to us.

Emily got up to speak when I muttered that she should let him be. After dinner Emily left with her mum and my mum left with grandma.

I groaned annoyingly at the dishes they left for me to wash and took his food up to his room. I knocked but no answer came so I allowed myself in.

Me: Hey I brought you food.(his back was turned to me as he stared at New York busy streets. He just nodded). We can't continue lying to ourselves anymore Jonny. ( he turned and looked at me fully now.)
Jonny: I know.(he simply said and turned again. Rude I thought.)
Me: it's over Jon.( I simply said waiting for his reaction)
Jonny: I know.(he repeated the same thing again and i simply lost my cool.)
Me: You know? What the heck do you know! Look I know you're going through a lot so am I and I don't want our relationship to fail because we both weren't brave enough to face the truth.( I ended boiling with anger)
Jonny: Am soo sorry May.( he added without turning)
Me:Sorry?about......(before I could say something I blond girl walked in. Actually run in with a luggage.)

(No more dialogue)
I looked at her and I couldn't help but roll my eyes. I didn't know her but looking at her I knew she was a bitch. "Babe am sorry I couldn't be here, I was soo busy." The bitch said in a high pitch tone. Wait babe? What the heck is this.

Jonny turned around looking at me with guilt in his eyes as the bitchy blonde still hugged him. I just stared back at him not knowing what to say and the bitch broke the silence again.

"Oh you must be Mabel,(she gave me a smile but anyone could know it's fake. I didn't like her and I knew she also didn't like me either.)
Am Courtney Johnson."She extended her hands.

I just stared at her blankly still processing everything. She retrieved her hand and gave me a pity smile and what she said next made my world shake. " I know how much you love Jonny but you guys broke up a year ago so move on baby girl( she walked close to me and took my hands. I didn't retrieve it cause I didn't still understand what the heck was going on and I tried to look in his eyes but he was looking at the bitch) now am here you can leave we'll leave for London soon enough."

She ended and went into the bathroom saying something about washroom but I was so shocked that I thought my heart had stopped beating.

I just stared at him waiting for him for say something and he said it. "Am sorry Mabel I wanted to tell you but I didn't know how you'd react and just like how you said, we can't continue this."

He moved closer to hold my hands but I slapped him across the face and all I could say is, " you lied....you lied."

Jonny's POV
She slapped me across the face and damn I deserved it. I've always wanted to tell her about Courtney but I didn't get the strength to do it.

Courtney came out of the washroom and asked what happened here. I ignored her took my phone and dialed her number but she wasn't picking up. Where the heck is she?

I didn't mean to hurt no way. "So when are we going back to London? We still have studies to catch." Courtney said whiles flicking her long hair. "Listen I don't care about my studies. My bye is six feet underground and one of the people I care most is out this late and you're talking about LONDON?!!!" I raised my voice and stormed out to get some air.

I noticed her car wasn't in the garage and I got more worried so I decided to call Miss Flora to ask if she was home. I quickly dailed the number and her sleepy voice came through.
