Konoha's Mating Season

Hinata sat in her room and looked out the window. There was a soft breeze rustling through the leaves with small clouds drifting peacefully through the blue sky. Hinata was always reminded of Naruto's beautiful eyes when she looked at the sky.

To be honest Hinata didn't mind the mating season. Sure she liked Naruto's original personality but his personality changing for a week wasn't going to make her stop liking him. She admired him so much so it was kind of nice having him in the village a little more and having time to spend with him.

Usually, he'd spend his time with Kakashi since Naruto was the candidate for being the next Hokage or he'd be off on a mission he never stood still. This scroll Kakashi opened was the perfect opportunity for her to spend more time with him since Naruto isn't off on a mission or busy helping or learning from Kakashi.

Naruto is always so busy; it'll be a nice break for him even though they were going through a strange situation.

"Hinata, have you seen Neji?" Hanabi asked as she poked her head through the door.

"No, sorry, however, if I have to guess I think he's probably off bothering poor Tenten." Hinata answered as she turned her head to Hanabi.

"Neji has been acting really strange this whole week. Do you know what's going on?" Hanabi asked with a confused frown as she tried to puzzle why Neji was acting strange.

"Kakashi opened a scroll which affects his personality; he'll be back to normal next week... Sort of..." Hinata said with a smile not telling her the whole story, she was still a little young.

"Why Neji?" Hanabi asked still confused.

"It is actually also affecting Naruto, Sasuke, Sai, Lee and Shikamaru." Hinata answered.

"But why though?" Hanabi asked not understanding this whole thing.

"Kakashi was bored." Hinata answered with an awkward chuckle.

"Makes sense, so Hinata, do you want to spar with me then since Neji is busy?" Hanabi asked with a pleading look in her eyes.

"Of course." Hinata replied with a gentle smiled as she stood up and followed her sister.

"So you mentioned this thing also affecting Naruto, what's he like?" Hanabi asked his sister as they walked to the courtyard to spar.

"He's a little broody, like Sasuke. It's kind of funny." Hinata chuckled with a slight blush.

"Now that is something I want to see." Hanabi said laughing.

No one ever thought they'd see the day where Naruto would act like Sasuke and Sasuke would act like Naruto. It was a very funny thing to witness.

The siblings walked to opposite sides of the courtyard then took a battle stance.

"Ready, Hinata?" Hanabi asked with a confident smile.

"Yes." Hinata replied with a more serious facial expression.

She couldn't deny that her sister was a talented fighter so she had to make sure she was focused.

Hanabi sprang into action and dashed towards her sister. Hanabi thrust her right palm to Hinata but Hinata simply smacked her hand away and thrust her left palm towards Hanabi's stomach. Hanabi did the same as Hinata and smacked her hand away however she followed it with a low sweep with her legs, trying to knock Hinata's feet from beneath her but Hinata jumped over her legs. Hanabi quickly twisted her body and kicked her left leg into a pitch, landing a hit to Hinata's abdomen. Hinata grunted as the hit sent her falling backwards.
