Without Mars we would lack the energy that results in action that allows us to pursue our ambitions.

Mars rules:

- Aries

- Scorpio

- 1st House

- 8th House

- Iron

- Tuesday

Mars could be in any sign and any house.

Mars inspires our will to compete in a multitude of ways. In sports, orally, as leaders, in war which is not surprising because Mars represents the warrior. A warrior has to have a fighting spirit and Mars is survival not just physically but in all aspects. Survival is vital to life and Mars shows us how we face threats in our life.

Mars is how we go about releasing our energy or expressing our energy. Obvious examples would be sports or exercise. A person could prefer yoga while others would prefer a tennis match or to go in a run. All of this would be determined by your Mars placement. Another example of physical energy being exerted would be our sexual drive and our physical needs in respect to that.

Mars is also facing fear and being brave and being known as a hero. Bravery could be shown in many ways (physical, mental, emotional, intellectual) which all depends on your Mars placements. Mars also suggests how and where in life you prepare to go the extra mile. An example of the types of people with prominent Mars energy would be pioneers, conquerors, entrepreneurs, adventurers, and athletes. Although we all possess the same energy on a smaller scale.

How Mars affect the world around us?

Mars is symbolized by civic and military conflict (wars, riot, armed forces, police). It also represents things more on the peaceful side such as surgeons, engineers, tool-makers, barbers, and butchers. It also represents their tools as well.
