a quick overview...
y/n recently just gave birth, and vinnie has been such a great father to their daughter. and y/n has been such a great mother to their daughter. this is self explanatory but enjoy !!

y/n pov

it was currently 3 in the morning and julyssa, my 1 1/2 month daughter started to cry. i start to get up from the bed, but vinnie stops me. 

"i'll take care of it love." vinnie, my husband, says kissing me on the lips.
"no v, let me help you."
"y/n you've been through so much pain recently, let me help a bit."
"fine, but next time it's my turn." i say, kissing vinnie as he walks down the hall to comfort julyssa. 

i sneakily follow vinnie behind just to make sure everything is okay. i press my ear against the door, eavesdropping.

"there's my little munchkin." i hear vinnie say in a soft voice.

julyssa coos a bit, knowing she's already starting to calm down now that vinnie is there.

"rockabye baby, on a treetop." i hear in awe. i assume vinnie is rocking her back to sleep.

a few minutes pass by and the door opens softly.

"not so bad for our first child babe." i say tip-toeing to kiss vinnie.
"i told you to stay in bed love."
"just wanted to make sure that the two loves of my life are okay."
"i love you y/n." vinnie says, keeping the eye contact, looking down.
"i love you more vin."
"i'm so glad you gave birth. you both really make me happy y/n. know that." vinnie says as we both slowly walk back towards our shared room.
"ever since i met you, i've been the happiest i could ever be."

we both kiss as we make it down that hall. as we stop, foreheads touching, we both walk back to our bed, dozing off in each other's arms.
