it's been around a year ever since vinnie left. i've been doing good, and i'm guessing we're on good terms. we both follow each other on tiktok, twitter, etc. so i guess you could say we're doing good. 

i currently just graduated and i was planning on moving to la to pursue my dream of modeling. i've been modeling ever since i was a little kid and moving to la by myself was a big step in life. i leave this wednesday which is in 3 days and i was safe to say that i was all packed. the moving guys were already on the road, on the way to my home. it was a nice 2 story with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. there was also a pool outside. i've been saving up for this house for a while, so this meant a lot to me.

time skip to where y/n is at the airport

"bye y/n! we'll miss you!" my parents say. 

"i'll miss you guys too! i'll try and call you guys as much as i can." i say hugging them.

i hop on the plane, popping in my airpods right away. i don't normally listen to their "rules and guidelines" since i've heard it so many times throughout my life. i was the first one to be seated so i just scrolled on tiktok for a while. 

after a few minutes of scrolling through my fyp, i see vinnie with a girl. she had blonde hair and was around 5'5. i looked at the caption to see her @ and i obviously clicked on it. her name was emily and she was extremely pretty. turns out vinnie lived in a house not too far from the one i'm moving in. let's just hope we don't run into each other. the plane starts to take off and i start to doze off, with the 2-3 hour flight ahead of me.

time skip to where y/n makes it to her new house and is already all settled in

it's been a few days ever since i flew into la, and i think it's safe to say that i was all moved in. i loved my house a lot. i had a photoshoot with one of my best friends, tati, that was going to start in about an hour. i put on light makeup and a casual outfit, knowing someone was already going to do my hair, makeup, etc.

once i get to tati's studio, i walk in only to be greeted to vinnie and i'm guessing a few of his friends. i try to walk away, avoiding a conversation with him, but of course he recognizes me.

"y/n?" he asks, in confusion.

"hey vincent."

"wow, i didn't know you were moving here. you changed a lot."

"thanks..? i moved here to pursue my career in modeling, not to bump into you." i snap back walking away, but vinnie has ahold of my arm.

"vinnie can you not? you literally left me after 3 years together and now you wanna talk?"

"vinnie who's this?" i hear one of his friends come up to him.

"y/n! didn't expect you to be this early!" tati says as she comes in as well.

"hey tati, well here i am!" i say faking a smile.

"how do you know vinnie?"

"oh we used to date, but he unexpectedly left after dating for 8 months." i say with a serious look.

it goes silent for a bit and vinnie is looking down with his hands in his pocket. 

"well, i'm not here to chat, c'mon tati."

"alrighty."

time skip to where y/n is all glammed up

"so, y/n, just stand over here and do your thing!"

"sounds great!" i walk to the middle of the grayish backdrop and do as she says.

"beautiful! stunning!" tati says. i can tell vinnie's eyes were on me, but i just ignore it.

tati looks back at her camera, pausing the shoot.

"everything ok tati?"

"you're so stunning, y/n, it's unbelievable," she says as she motions me to come over and look at the pics. 

"wow, you're not lying." i say as i chuckle.

"we're gonna take a few more pics and bring over the boys, sound good?"

"sounds great."

we take a few more pictures and i move over to the side, so vinnie and his friends could get their pictures taken. 

vinnie pov

"damn, who is that over there? she's fine asf." troy says.

"that's y/n. we used to date back in seattle, before i left." i say.

"and you really left that hot stuff to date that emily girl? you screwed up v." aaron scoffs.

"hey! i was here to take another step in my tiktok career too!"

"yeah, mhm." the boys say watching y/n's every move.

i'll admit it, i did miss y/n. she was so fucking stunning, every pose she struck. i knew she wouldn't go back to me after i left seattle but i wasn't going to give up. i loved y/n a lot. i didn't expect her to react like that when i announced that i was moving here, in la.

y/n pov

after everyone got their photos taken, both group and solo, we all looked over tati's camera.

"wow, this is all so great." i say, everyone agreeing.

"so my assistant and i are going to edit and look over these then i'll send them to you guys to go post on instagram and everything!"

"sounds good, thank you tati, you're one of the best photographers i've ever shot with." i say giving her a hug.

"no, thank you y/n! one of my best clients" she says giving me a wink. 

i go walk over towards the back of the studio to change into sweats and a cropped tank top. i start taking off my makeup, only to see vinnie come up behind me, washing off his eyeliner.

"hey vin."

"hey y/n."

it sits silent for a bit until vinnie speaks up.

"i miss you a lot. and i know you might not feel the same after what's all happened last year bu-"

"i've missed you too vinnie." i say cutting him off and looking at him through the mirrors. 

"really?"

"yeah, i've missed us." i say turning off the faucet water and drying my face off.

vinnie pulls me into a hug. "i'm so sorry for leaving so last minute. i truly loved you y/n, i just wasn't thinking right at the time."

"just please don't do it again v."

"i promise."

"how about dinner tomorrow then we go to the beach watching the sunset?" vinnie asks looking down at me, his hands around my waist and my arms around his neck.

"i'd like that."

time skip to 1 year

"happy one year baby." vinnie says as we both wake up.

"happy one year vincent." i say cuddling into his arms, kissing him on the lips.

YALL THIS WAS SO CUTE IM SO LONELY. but yeah i decided to just do a part 2 since this was gonna be a pretty boring book if i made it just separately. but yuh i hope u guys enjoyed. if you want another part, feel free to give suggestions because i don't have anything in mind atm. but yuh have a nice day loves make sure to stay healthy/safe and drink water! love u guys <333
