Seeing You Play Part 2
After getting back to the gym or where the match is being held, you saw Karasuno getting back from timeout,
"Lizzie, what's the set?", Isabelle asked,
"Second set."
"First timeout for the opposing team?"
"Yupp."
"Its starting."
When it started, I looked at their player line up but Tsukishima was on bench. I felt quite of bad for him but I knew the reason he was on bench, he was replaced with their pinch server. I heard from the Seijoh game that he manipulated the team with the ball outside.
When he served the ball the opposing team caught it but to me the serve seems to be nice. After the opposing team got the point, he was switched out with Tsukishima. When Tsukishima is already in place, he was about to serve. His serve is just a normal serve just like any normal which is nothing any special. But when he does his quicks with Kageyama, it seems to be he's a skilled player.
After the opposing team earning the point, he was placed at the front. His blocks seems to be like Nekoma's captain, Kuroo. Well there is a possibility that he teaches him how to block in his ways.
I know Kuroo due to our training camps and practice matches. So I practically know how he plays, like how he blocks, manipulates the other team and other stuff so it doesn't disturb me or anything. Anyways back to the volleyball match.
When I looked at the score board, it seems like Karasuno's on match point. Well, aren't they lucky. It seems like this ain't the Karasuno that defeated Shiratorizawa. These guys improved over the past months How do I know if you may ask? I watched their matches on Youtube and if I have time after our matches, my friends and I mostly watch their match.
Timeskip to the end of the match
After their match, I went to find the first years of Karasuno to congratulate them. Well of course, with my secret shy side for congratulating them, I had Isabelle and Lillie with me incase something happens.
And yes, I have a shy side. Yeah you saw me being sassy to the press but when it comes to people I know like for a few weeks, I still become shy due to not knowing them well like really well. Not the personal info included.
I walked up to the first years and saw them talking to some random people? Yeah, when I say random its RANDOM. Like I don't know them like anxiety punches me like a titan. We waited for a few minutes and after maybe five to seven minutes? Im lazy to count time like really I don't even know how to read the time on a manual clock.We went close to them and congratulated them.
"OI, CONGRATS GUYS!!", Lillie screamed,
"Lillie, we're in public place. You can't scream that loud and you know that", I said, "Anyways, congrats for reaching the second round. Inariazaki next opponent, right?"
"Yup. We're gonna crush them to the ground.", Hinata said,
"Eekk, is that word too much?", Yachi squeaked,
"Yeah, too much.", Isabelle admitted,
"Can I talk to Tsukishima? I want to tell him something.", I asked and ending it with a cute smile,
Tsukishima's POV
"Uh sure L/N.", I blandly said,
The both of us walked to a place which where there is only a few people. Suddenly, she broke the silence,
"You know your blocks are similar to Kuroo's. You know him by any chance?", she asked,
"Yeah, his school is one of Karasuno's rivals. We were invited to their training camp last summer and he thought me there.",
"Well, as Japan's top three blockers, that was an impressive block from your previous matches.",
"Are you stalker or something?",
"Nope. Back at Niiyama, you have fan girls, you know. Since they mostly ask Isabelle, Lillie and I for our opinions in the clips.", I lied to him,
"What am I? An Oikawa copy?"
Y/N's POV
"What am I? An Oikawa copy?"
"Pfft....", I let out a stiffled laugh, "Well, for me. You're beanpole. HAHAHAHA"
"Yeah, yeah, whatever L/N."
"I don't like being called by last name, just call me Y/N."
"I would give you a nickname if I can but since I don't know you that much. I won't in the moment.", he admitted,
"Well, why won't we hangout after the Nationals? I can tour you around Tokyo or maybe bring you to the Skytree. So what's your answer?"
"Sure, why not. Afterall, we are friends. Anyways, I gotta go back. See ya tomorrow Y/N.",
"Yeah, see ya tomorrow.", I said, "Besides, you have my number. You can text me whenever you want. Ciao."
I smiled at her but just not any smile. A real smile I haven't gave anyone a real smile. Even my own family don't receive a real smile from me. I guess I'm falling in love with this girl.
