A Talk
Y/N's POV
I was dropped off by my driver at the hotel where I'll be staying. I walked in the hotel and saw Kira, May, Lizzie and Jen talking about something. I just continued walking in the hotel until I was called by Kira.
"Y/N, wanna join our talk we also need you for this plan.",
"Uh are you sure? I mean its a talk between you third years, I don't want to interfere you guys.", I denied,
"We're sure. We just wanna talk about something for tomorrows plan for the match. We'll have two matches tomorrow so we need to talk about it, plus we'll talk about one more than that.", Lizzie begged,
"Fine,", I walked to the lounge where they were seating at, "So, whatchu guys thought about?",
"Since you're the most important player of the team, we'll be doing a lot of switching with the libero and you. Don't worry about it, we'll talk to Auntie M/N about this switching places when we get home. Its just for the first match. Then for the second match, we'll be putting you as a right wing spiker and Lizzie as your setter. I know this will be hard but can you please do it just for tomorrow.", May explained,
"I'll do anything for our team to win. So apparently, we'll be mixing up our roles like your position for the second match will be left wing spiker then for Jen, she'll be a spiker. Am I right?", I explained,
"Yup. This method is just for the four of us. Kira will be doing signals out of court for the second match for what position we'll be playing. Just for me and Jen.", May added,
"I get it now. Thanks for telling. I'll make sure you guys have the best last year at Niiyama. I'll make sure we'll win Nationals so you can graduate with a memorable souvenir.", I said,
"Y/N, its too early for that. You should focusing on tomorrow, not our graduation.", Jen tearing up,
"I know but it won't be the same without you guys next year.",
"We'll try going to your guys' matches and that's noted." Lizzie said,
"We have one more thing to talk about. You crushing on someone?", Kira teased,
"You've been close lately with that Tsukishima guy. Is there something between you two?", Jen teased,
"I'll admit it but don't tell the second years and first years please.", I sighed,
"Yeah, yeah. Just make sure to follow the plan tomorrow.", May agreed,
"Okay. So I'm currently crushing on Kei, mkay?", I admitted,
"Oh~ first name basis, I like that.", Kira whistled,
"When did you met him anyways?", May asked,
"Winter break. I was walking in the park during that night. Then he teased me and stuff and stuff then yeah that's it. Happy?", I said,
"You should confess. After Nationals would be good.", Jen suggested,
"That's too early though. The school festival at school at February 4, that would be a perfect location. We could invite the whole Karasuno volleyball team. The school mostly invite schools across Miyagi so we can suggest them. You get the plan?",
"I get it but what booth should our class do, you know I'm a class representative.", I asked,
"After Nationals, they mostly do planning for the school festival.", Kira said,
"Then, its settled. I'll just talk to the officers about this- Wait wait wait, they didn't announced this to the first years yet, right?",
"They're gonna announce it to the first years when we come back. That's mostly a tradition for the first years.", Lizzie answered,
"Just don't tell that yet to Lillie and Isabelle.", Kira reassured,
"I won't. I'll go to my room now. See ya tomorrow, guys.", I bid good bye,
"Sweet dreams, Y/N.", May said,
"You guys too.",
After saying good night to them, I walked to my room, did my night routine and went to sleep.
