Chapter 9 - Out of My Mind

I was backstage, in the dressing room getting ready for the performance. I was putting my makeup on by the vanity, when my nose started to bleed.

I grabbed multiple tissues but the bleeding wouldn't stop. "SHADOW!" I called. Shadow teleported into my dressing room in a flash.

"What's- oh my god. Your nose?" He said in horror. "Yeah, I know. Can you please help me." I asked him calmly as I continuously dabbed my bleeding nose with a bunch of tissues.

"Yeah, but don't you think you used enough tissues?" Shadow said slowly as he pointed to the trash can already overflowing with tissue.

I signed. "No, it won't stop bleeding." I raised my voice, getting highly annoyed with my bloody nose.

"Amy, you think Sonic.Exe could be up to something?" Shadow blurted out. I stared at him coldly. "DON'T MENTION HIM! I'M NOT ALL ABOUT THAT SON OF A B**** RIGHT NOW!" I  yelled. I didn't mean to say that so I covered my mouth in shock.

Shadow got wide eyed and changed the topic quickly. "S- sorry, Rose. But do you want me to get you more tissues?" He asked quickly.

"Yes please and sorry for yelling at you. I don't know what's wrong with me today." I responded. He nodded and left to get more tissues.

I eventually ran out of tissues and had to wait for Shadow to come back. Then there was a knock on the door. "Oh, Shadow! That was quick-" But I open the door to see Sonic standing there.

"Da f*** do you want?" I grumbled angrily.

Sonic signed. "Amy, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to ruin your day or week with the whole team coming here and Sally treating you like crap and I-"

I cut him short. "Sonic, I don't wanna hear it. I left because of you and your stupid girlfriend but I forgive you anyways. Ok? Friends?" I said, putting my hand out for him.

He smiled and shook it. "Friends... But um- what happened to your nose?" He said worriedly as he looked at my bloody, dripping face.

"My nose is bleeding and it won't stop." I replied. He flashed a face of understanding then looked at the floor in silence. It was insanely awkward.

"Um... You might have to change. You have blood all on your dress." He said, looking at my dress for a quick second and turning away.

I guess I was wearing a revealing dress. Hehe...

I quickly kicked Sonic out and got dresses. I changed into this...

I made sure to put a little clothe over it in the meantime because I don't want blood to drip on it.

I picked up my phone and looked at the time. 7:26pm.

Com'n Shadow! Where are you! My concert starts in less than an hour! I thought nervously as in pace around the room.
