Sora turns on the radio, listening to "Losing control" by Russ, distracting himself from her voice in his head. He feels relieved when he finally reaches his house after a long drive from the movie date with her. He hears a voice from the kitchen as he enters his house.

"Hi son!" He recognized the voice of his mom and suddenly felt warm and joyful inside. "Hi mom," he greeted. Sora and his mother had strong, loving relationship, almost like best friends. "How was the movie date with you and uh...what's her name again?" He chuckles, unbothered by his mother's forgetfulness. "It's Maddison, remember when I show her to you on FaceTime?" She remembered straight away. "Yes! I remember now! So how was the date?" Sora lowered his smile. He never announced that he was planning to confess to Maddison.

"It was...alright," Sora looked down and hesitated for a few seconds. Mom stared at him confused. "Just alright?" Sora didn't have the energy to talk about his conversation to Maddison. "C-Can we talk about it later? I'm feeling really tired". Mom understood shook her head. "Of course! Dinner will be done in 30 minutes, I'm making your favorite food, rice!" Sora smiled again. "Thanks mom, I'll be down in a bit".
