Meeting up

It's been 2 months since Sora's heartbreak. He is over Maddison, but he's not completely over her just yet.

Sora wakes up from the sunlight in his eyes. He stretched and reached for his phone to check the time. It's 7:25 am. He groaned deeply. "Fùck...." The pain is slowly fading away, but his perspective of love is dull. He slowly laid back in his bed with the phone in his hand and almost drifted off again until he got a notification from Jared. He opened his messages.

Jared: Me n' bois are goin to the mall. U joinin?
Sora: yea lemme take a showers first and I'll meet u
Jared: aight

Sora got out of bed and went to the bathroom. He turned on the shower faucet and started stripping pieces of his clothes off. The hot water was soothing. It cleared his mind. 20 minutes later he got out the shower. He combed his hair, brushed his teeth, and put on his light blue contacts. He looked through his closet to put on clothes. "This looks nice", he said while pulling out his red flannel.

It was 8:01 now. Sora grabbed his keys and went downstairs. "Bye guys," he yelled to his parents and siblings before leaving. It was sunny today. The neighborhood was quiet. Sora puts his key in the ignition and drives off. The radio was playing "so into you" by Pop Smoke, one of his favorite songs.

After 10 minutes of driving, he reached the mall and found the closes parking spot he could find. When he opened the car door, he heard Jared's voice. "AYO!" Sora turned his head towards the sound of his voice. He saw Jared and the rest of the group walking towards him. "Sup bro!" Sora shouted. The group all greeted him with their secret handshake. Sora's friends have always adored him. They treated him like family, which made him so happy. "Aight let's go" Jared leaded.
