I bet you're wondering what Gossip Girl is doing up so early. Truth is, I never went to bed. Why waste precious time dreaming when waking life is so much better? Is there really anything better than a lazy Sunday? Reading the paper in bed, sipping coffee, scrambling an egg or two. Yeah, right. We Upper East Siders don't do lazy. Breakfast is brunch, and it comes with champagne, a dress code and a hundred of our closest friends... and enemies.

Chuck's dad, Bart Bass, is hosting the annual brunch for his foundation. Everyone is invited.

Well, not everyone.

"Serena had better just stay away." Blair was saying to Maisie.

Maisie nodded in agreement as she snagged a cookie Dorota made for her. "Thanks, Dora."

Dora was a nickname she gave the maid when she couldn't pronounce her actual name. And it just stuck.

"Thank you, Dorota." Blair smiled at the maid who was like a second mother to her.

"Yeah, thanks." Isabel added.

"We love sleeping at Blair's and Maisie's." Kati said.

"I don't want to see Serena at school, and she better not show up at brunch today." Blair continued on her rant.

"You're really mad at Serena." Kati stated.

"Yeah, I hope you never get that mad at us." Isabel's eyes widened.

"Don't sleep with her boyfriend, and she won't be." Maisie advised.

Blair nodded. "Well, you would never do what Serena did."

"No, never." Kati agreed.

"Of course not." Isabel said.

"I wonder if Nate remembered brunch." Blair smiled. "It would be so wrong for me to show up without my boyfriend whom I love, and who loves me."

She dialed Nate's number.

"Why do you love him again?" Maisie asked, standing to her feet.

Blair shot her a grin. "You wouldn't understand, you've never been in love before."

Maisie rolled her eyes. "I don't believe in love." She walked out of the room, shouting. "I'm getting ready for brunch."
