Maisie Stone couldn't believe her eyes as she read the Gossip Girl tweet. "I can't believe this. She's back."
Alec Stone plopped down beside his sister. "Who's back?"
"Serena." Maisie scowled. "I wonder if Blair knows."
Serena Van Der Woodsen was one third of the golden trio, that's what Maisie called them as she had a Harry Potter obsession. Serena was the outgoing, wild and free one. The blonde one that loves trouble. The fun one. But she left without a word a year ago.
Maisie head shot up when she saw Blair dragging her boyfriend Nathanial Archibald behind her.
Blair Waldorf was the other one third part of the golden trio. The very loyal brunette, who could be very vengeful if you cross her. She basically became queen b when Serena left. She was the person you could always come to when you need help, she was perfect even if she didn't think so.
And Maisie Stone, the last member of the golden trio. She was the reason they were best friends to begin with, in preschool she stood up to a bully that was messing with Serena and Blair. Ever since that day, the three have been inseparable. She would do anything for her friends. The red head with a very fiery attitude and a big sarcastic mouth.
Every trio needed a blonde, brunette and a red head.
"Nathanial. Any interest in some fresh air?" Chuck Bass asked, breaking Maisie out of her hand thoughts.
Chuck Bass, the player who Maisie absolutely despised. He always hit on her which just makes her want to hit him. But sadly he was her brothers best friend.
As was Nate Archibald, Blair's boyfriend. The three have been best friends around the same time the golden trio has.
Maisie rolled her eyes at Chuck. That was his way of saying he wanted to get high.
"When I get back?" Nate says with a grin.
"If he gets back." Blair smirks, giving Maisie a wink and then pulled Nate up the stairs.
"Gross." Alec said, still staring at the stairs where they went up. He hated to admit that he felt a small piece of jealousy.
Alec Stone, the twin brother to Maisie. The two were basically identical, just one being a girl and the other being a boy. He had the biggest crush on Blair that everyone knew but Blair and Nate. He was extremely protective over Maisie.
