Lavinia watched as the city passed by the taxi noticing the more she got near to club Euphoria houses were replaced by apartments and the occasional store with neon signs advertising a big sale. Her cell dings as a text pops up from, Cypress, the club owner.
"Hey you coming tonight??"

She smiles replying quickly. "Of course! Rex gave me a few days off, I'm ready to party!" Adding a winky face she sent it.

Looking out the window she sees the bright blue and purple sign that read Euphoria.

"Just right here mister!" The taxi driver nods pulling over.

Getting out she thanks him ignoring his concerned expression especially knowing the area isn't the safest for a young lady to be on her own. But who said anything about being a lady, Lavinia thought to herself smirking. She made her way to the doors guarded by a burly bouncer. Seeing her approach the bouncers scowl splits to a bright smile.

"Look who it is, been to long lil slugger!" His booming voice barely heard from the music seeping from behind the door. Smiling Lavinia reaches out bumping fists with the man.

"Oh please it hasn't been that long Zak." She glances at the line up noticing a few sour faces since she cut infront, "Busy as always any good fights happen?"

Zak frowns thoughtfully before grinning.

"Not really only highlight was when the boss broke a chair on some dudes head for harassing one of the waitresses." They both laugh at this before Zak opens the door the once muffled music beckoned her inside.

"I'll catch you later man drinks on me tonight!" She called out behind her.

Inside the music pulsated in unison with strobbing lights cascading across the crowd. She made her way towards the bar waving at a few regulars. She plopped down in a stool watching a tall man clean with his back towards her. Taking a crumpled receipt from the counter she flicked it at the back of his head. He stiffened glaring over his shoulder but quickly gave a genuine smile seeing Lavinia. Tossing a rag over his shoulder he leaned over the counter. Lavinia wraps her arms around his neck giving him a quick peck on his cheek before moving to his ear.

"Miss me?" She feels him nod and smiles brightly leaning back punching his shoulder, "Good cause I have a beer behind there with my name on it be a dear and get it for me,Cypress!" Shaking his head Cypress leans down grabbing her drink.

"You know you got a tab so big I could swim in the amount of cash you owe me." Cypress passes her the beer grinning. She scoffs turning so she is leaning back against the counter sipping the beer. She turns her head towards Cypress.

"You realize it's because of my fine piece of ass you got so much business" It was his turn to scoff smacking her shoulder with his rag.

"Fuck off it's your voice that brought in a crowd your looks got nothing to do with it besides they stayed because of my charm and drinks." She glared at him but said nothing knowing it was the truth.

Lavinia took another swig noticing a guy staring at her from a nearby table. Making eye contact with him he grins winking at her. She rolls her eyes looking elsewhere but not taking the hint the guy makes his way over to her. She groans internally. Here we go.
