We get to Auntie's Bookstore after a little walk in the snow. I believe Corbyn is now more cold then he was at the café.

"Corbyn you ok?" I asks. He gives me a shaky nod. "If you say so."

Christina leaves us so she can go find her book. I just look around, completely forgetting my original intentions of coming here. Corbyn follows me, probably just trying to take it all in. His eyes are sparkling.

"You look like you're a kid in a candy shop." I say giggling a little.

"You could say that. I love bookstores." He smiles and walks over to a shelf, picking up a book and flipping through the pages. "'The Benefits of Being an Octopus' never heard of that one."

"That's a good book. It's about this middle school girl that doesn't have the best life. She lives in a trailer with her little brother and sister, mom, her moms boyfriend whos verbally abusive, and the boyfriends dad."

"Does it have a happy ending? I can't do sad things." He gives me a frown after saying that.

"Yes it has a happy ending. I think you should read it."

"Ok. It'll give me something to do during my endless free time."

"You have any recommendations for me?" He thinks about it a little bit before answering.

"'The Hate You Give'. That's a good one. It does get sad but I promise it's a good read. It's about racism and things that happen in real life." I nod and look around the store to find it. It takes awhile but I see it sitting on a shelf.

"Well I think we should find Chris before she buys the whole store," I say. She's the kind of person who would do that. When we find her she has about ten different books in her arms.

"Guys, choose three out of all of these and I'll put the rest back," she tells us.

"Well what about the book your friends sister recommended?" I say.

"Oh right. It's called 'The Benefits of Being an Octopus'." I look over at Corbyn and we both start laughing. "I know it sounds dumb but it's supposed to be good."

"It is good. That's actually the book that Corbyn picked out."

"And I'm fine with you borrowing it," he says.

"Thanks. Now back to the books. Which ones should I get?"

The Benefits of Being an Octopus is a great book.
