I might be falling for someone I met few days ago. He's just so perfect. Everything about him is just what makes me happy. His smile, his eyes, when he laughs it makes the whole world stop spinning.
Again, I walk into the small café. After saying to Christina I want my usual, she makes it and I sit down. Today is more slushy then anything, making the ground look gray instead of it's normal snowy white.
"I can already tell today is going to be a slow day," I say to myself. I was hoping to see the brunette that i met a few days ago. Before I could even finish that thought the door opens, revealing non other then the brunette himself.
"The slush does not make it easy to walk. I almost ran into a stoplight." He's getting most of the slush off his shoes before he makes his way further into the café. I can feel a smile creeping onto my face.
"Hey Corbyn. Yeah, todays more gray then anything. Well would you like your usual latte?" I hear Christina ask from behind the counter. He answers with a yes and she starts on his drink. After he grabs his drink I can tell he's walking over to me.
"Well if it isn't my favorite blonde," Corbyn says.
"Well if it isn't my favorite brunette." Once I say that I hear Christina give a fake hurt gasp.
"You better hope I still make you coffee," she says sarcastically. I laugh and look back at Corbyn.
"So what's the plan for today Bean? Anything you want to check out in this big city?"
"Not that I can think of. I was thinking today could be a slow day. We could go to my apartment and find a movie or something?" He sounds nervous asking me that.
"Of course. Why do you sound so nervous?"
"Because you scare me, not in a bad way, you just scare me. I didn't want to say that and then you think I was weird or moving to fast."
"Well I think you're doing just fine. Come on, show me the way." I stand up and he follows. When we get to the door he holds it open for me.
~time skipy~
"Well, here it is. My 'cozy' little house." We walk into his apartment. It looks nice to me. There's a loveseat in the living room along with a chair. The kitchen is pretty big for an apartment, maybe he likes to cook.
"I love it. It looks nicer then where I live. Looks like I might have to come over here more often," I tell him. I know I need the company, and from what I know, He also lives in this big city alone.
"That would be nice. It gets lonely and I don't like how quiet it is all the time."
"Damn you with your cute smile." I guess I didn't say that as quiet as I thought because when I look over at him he's blushing.
