Chapter 1

     As Manny traveled he managed to get the cubs, which he named [Y/N], eyes open and wandering.

~[Y/N] P.O.V~

When I opened my eyes the first thing I saw was the bright blue sky and the big furry thing under me as we were traveling, but that was a day ago and I now know their name. At the moment we were in a crowd and I kept overhearing animals' complaints.

"lookout"

"you're going the wrong way"

"Crazy Mammoth,"

Apparently, most of the smaller animals could not see me considering how small I am and the fact that I am on Manny's back.

"Hey do the world a favor, Move your issues off the road." one guy said stopping us and earning an aggravated response from the mammoth "if My trunk was that small I wouldn't draw attention to myself pall."

"G-give me a break we've been waddling all-day."

"Oh go ahead follow the crowd, it'll be quieter when you're gone," with that said we continued on our path.

Once out of the crowd it was a lot quieter until I heard screaming, wobbly getting up from the place I was laying on and looked behind us to see a sloth? running towards us and Manny paying him no mind until he ran into Manny.

"Hey!"

"Just pretend I'm not here," The sloth said as two rhinos were running towards us.

"aw man, I wanted to hit him at full speed,"

"Frank we'll have some fun with him first."

The sloth thin frankly said "ah please don't let them impale me I wanna live,"

"get off me," Manny said before flinging the sloth off.

"Oh come on you're making a sean," the unnamed rhino said as 'Frank' asked for "his furry pinata" back.

"Hey buddy if it's not them today its someone else tomorrow"

"Well I'd rather it not be today," the stinky sloth replied to manny.

"look we're gonna break your neck so you don't feel a thing, How's that?"

"Wait a minute there, I thought rhinos were vegetarians?"

"an excellent point," the sloth said before being shut up by Manny

"who said we were going to eat him after we kill them,"

"yea, move it,"

"you know I don't like animals that kill for pleasure," Manny said with intimidation in his voice, though not working on the rhinos. He went to plan B "look If either of you makes it across that sinkhole in front of you, you get the sloth."

"That's right you losers take one step and you're dead," the sloth said, throwing a rock "you were bluffing huh."

"yea that was a bluff."

They then charged at them, "here hold this," Manny said, giving me to the sloth before. dealing with the rhinos. "Ah what?" The sloth questioned holding me away from him after Manny pushed back the two rhinos to prevent us from going off the cliff. When he received no reply he turned his attention to me. "so ah what's your name?" he questioned nervously while looking around and spotted a rhino charging at us and screamed before Manny picked him up and threw him away with his friend.

Though in the sloth's excitement that Manny had won he ended up dropping me onto the ground and expediently pushing the two over. I then stood on my weak legs and clumsily made my way to the edge before sliding, more like falling, down the small cliff. Luckily manny caught me before any damage could be done. We then started to head north again as Sid started to talk again. "Hey, aren't you going south, you know the changing of seasons, migration enacting, any of this ringing a bell?"

"guess not bye."

"Okey then thanks for the help I can take it from here," the sloth said before turning around and it wasn't long before he came running back. "Well that whole south thing is overrated; the heat, the crowds, Oh I'm Sid and Isn't this great you, me, the cub. two bachelors knocking about in the wild."

"No, you Just want a bodyguard so you don't become a side dish," Manny said while walking.

"you're a very shrewd mammal, so how about you lead the way, big guy-"

"Manfred and [Y/N}" He said also pointing towards me

"Manfred uck how about Manny the moody mammoth or Manny the melancholy, Manny the-" And just like that Sid ran up a tree "Stop Following Me"

"Okay, you got issues, look you won't even know I'm here once I zip the lip mp I'm mp." Sid said and continued to talk as Manny rolled his eyes not wanting to deal with this. "oh also why do you have a Saber cub?" Sid asked only to receive a glare telling him to shut up. "ok ok you don't want to talk gotcha."
