Avneet's POV
After Rajat left, I was playing with pen, putting my head on the desk. That's when someone hit me from behind, not too hard.
"What's up?!" It was obviously the uchalta huwa bandar, Siddharth Nigam.
I replied uninterestedly,"Sky!"
"Sky nahi ceiling hai upar, Chasma lagati ho phir bhi tumhe nahi dikhta!"
"Har baat mein mere chasme ko ghusedne ki kya jarurat hai tumhe?!" I asked irritatedly. He frowned and stared at me. I raised my eyebrows asking what.
"Koi problem hai kya?" he asked after a bit of time.
"Haan! Wo exams aarahe hai aur mujhe maths nahi aata! Aur thodi der pehle Rajat ne help karne ki koshish ki thi lekin mujhe kuch samajh hi nahi aaya. Bohot complicated tarike se sikha raha tha wo. Main kuch keh bhi nahi payi!" I said feeling sad but he laughed. I frowned at his reaction. Here I am narrating my sad saga and there he is laughing.
"Tumhe bhulne ki bimari hai jaisa toh lagta nahi hai mujhe, lekin tum ye kaise bhul gayi ki main maths mein topper hoon!" he said and then I remembered that My Siddharth, I mean Siddharth is very good at maths.
"Tum mujhe sikhaoge kya?" I asked and he replied,"Of course, itna laanati lagta hun kya main tumhe?! Aisa sikhaunga ki maths mein top karogi tum! Ush Rajat ke pas jaane ki koi jarurat nahi hai."
"Main nahi gayi hoon, wo aaya tha!" I corrected him.
"Haan jo bhi ho!"
"Lekin use bura laga toh"
"Ohoho achhai ki devi, apne alawa abka tension rehta hai na tumhe?! Abhi dono k sath padhlo. Baad mein us Rajat ko kehdenge ki teri koi jarurat nahi hai!"
"Politely!" I warned.
He replied," Haan Haan, politely! Ab chalo!"
"Kaha?"
"Canteen!"
"Nahi mujhe nahi jaana!"
"Aise kaise nahi jaana, chalo!" He then grabbed my hands and took me to the canteen where I saw Darsheel, Anushka and Ashnoor. He gave our orders and we got seated in the seats.
"Waise mujhe tumlogo se ek question puchna tha. Padhai ke pressure ke wajha se bhul gaya tha abhi yaad aaya!" Darsheel said as Siddharth and I got seated.
"Padhai aur tum? Kuch jyaada hi mazak nai ho gaya?!" Anushka taunted at him who just smiled at her.
"Aisa mat kaho yaar, bohot mehenati banda hoon main! Haan toh kya kehraha tha main!"
Anushka replied,"Question!"
"Haan, Thank you! Main ye puchna chahaha tha ki tum dono ek dusre ko pehle se hi jaante ho?" And we all were like 'Are you serious'. Anushka instantly replied,"Badi jaldi nahi puch liya ye sawaal! Do-teen saal aur ruk jaate!" We all laughed at their conversation. We were having our foods when Sophia came running and shouting Siddharth's name. Siddharth rolled his eyes.
"Avneet main yaha baithjaati hu, tum udhar jaake baitho na!" She said to me faking sweetness.
"Wo kyu jaayegi, tum jaao na-canteen se bahar!" Anushka replied.
"See guys mujhe Siddharth se kuch jaruri baat karni hai toh tum log jaao, main is'se akele mein baat karungi!" She said and before anyone could say anything Darsheel replied this time,"Siddharth busy hai, baat nai karsakta. Ashnoor se baat karlo!"
"Main kyu?!"Ashnoor asked innocently.
My mother's call saved me from all these messes. I went out to take the call.
"Teri maa bolrahi hu, aise kaise bhul gayi tu mujhe. Siddharth apni maa ko kitna call karta rehta hai aur tu toh ek message bhi nai karti. Tujhe na us'se bachpan se hi bohot saari cheezein sikne ki jarurat thi, abhi saath mein ho toh siklena sab kuch! Aur bata kaisi hai?!"
"Thoda saans lelo mumma yaar! Time hi nai mil pata mainu, exam bhi aarahe hai aur aap chahte ho na ki mai achhe se padhu toh main aapko harwaqt phone nai karsakti! Samajh rahe ho na?"
"Haan Haan thik hai! Aur waise bhi Siddharth hai toh koi tension nai hai and Anushka kive hai?"
"Changa! Ekdum badhiya! Naasta kar'rahi hai abhi!"
"Thik hai, apna khyaal rakhna aur achhe se padhai karna aur haan, phone karte rehna!"
"Haanji!"
"Chal bye!"
"Bye!" I cut the call and went back to the seat where everyone were sitting but didn't find them. I looked around but still didn't find them. After that I got out of the canteen and a boy came to me and asked,"Tum Siddharth Darsheel aur baaki sab ko dhund rahi ho?"
I nodded and he answered,"Abhi abhi us taraf gaye hai saare!" He pointed towards the gaint tree beside the canteen area.
"Unhone kaha tha ki agar tum dikhi toh batadena!" And then he left, I went there and look all around but saw no one. I called them out but got no response. When I turned, an ugly looking monkey toy was hanging in front of me. I screamed and stepped back and hit my head with the tree. I winced in pain and rubbed the back of my head. I couldn't see that ugly monkey, so I tried to pull it down and throw but something fell on me from above, when I pulled it. Whaaat thee hellllll! It's ink. I moved aside quickly and tried to remove ink from my clothes and face. But it got worse. My hands were all blue, maybe my face too. I suddenly heard someone laughing, I turned. Siddhaaaaarthhhhh!!!
