Chapter-42 PROPOSE?!

Avneet's phone rang early in the morning. While still in her sleep, she picked up the phone.

"Kon hai bey?!" She said in a sleepy voice. He smiled at her adorable voice and then said,"Arey main!"

"Kon main?" She asked with her eyes still closed.

"Siddharth!"

"Nai woh apne room mein hai aap usey hi phone karo. Main Avneet bolrahi hoon!" She said and then was about to hang up the call but he quickly said,"Mujhe pata hai, main Siddharth hi bolraha hoon! Tumne meri awaaz nai pehchani yaar! Is awaz se kitno ka katal hochuka hai!"

She rubbed her eyes and replied,"Tabhi main bolti hoon kaichi ke tarah zuban chalana band karo, kardiya na bechariyon ka katal!"

He shook his head and smiled.

"Achha yeh sab chhodo tum yeh batao, uthi nai ho kya abhitak?"

"Tumne yeh puchne ke liye phone kiya?" She said again closing her eyes.

She spoke as low as she can, not to disturb her roommates.

"Nai reyyy! Woh maine isliye phone kiya kyuki aaj main classes attend nai karpaunga aur subha tumhe bhi nai milpaunga!"

"Kyu? Kidnapp hogaye kya?" She said wittily.

"Kya yaar tum!!" He pulled his brows together and added,"Maine kal bataya tha na aaj inter-college soccer match hai!"

"Haan par wo to 7 baje hai na?"

She yawned and looked at her fellow roommates.

"Haan! But 6 baje toh nikalna padega na humein!!"

"To abhi kyu phone kar'rahe ho, 6 baje karo na!"

"Oh godddd Avneet! 6 bajchuke hain"

"Kyaa?" She shouted and abruptly gkt up from the bed.

Removed the phone from her ears and when she saw the time, it was 6:00 o'clock.

"Aur tum yeh baat mujhe abhi batarahe ho?" She said wearing her fluffy slippers.

"Haan, kyuki 6 abhi baja hai!"

She quickly headed to Ashnoor's bed and was about to wake her up.

"Oh god Siddharth hum class ke liye late hogaye! Koi nai utha, anu aur noori bhi nai!"

She shook Ashnoor who ignored her and kept sleeping. And leaving Ashnoor she went to Anushka.

"Ek kaam karo badam jyada khaya karo! Yadasht ki problem dikhrahi hai mujhe! Humari pehli class postpone ho ke 12 baje honewali hai!" Siddharth said and then she stopped at her way and mentally cursed herself and then Siddharth.

"Ohhh haan!" She went back to the bed and laid down.

"Chalo maine bas itna kehne ke liye phone kiya tha, ab mujhe jana hoga!" After packing his sport kit, he said.

"Okay!" She said while yawning.

"Ok I love you!"

She got goosebumps hearing his sudden confession. And within seconds her cheeks turned red.

"Ahh... Woh... Meri battery down hai main rakhti hoon" She couldn't think of any other excuse and after saying the first thing that came to her mind, she hung up the phone.

"Ar-"

Siddharth was about to call her again, but a message stopped him from doing so. He received a message from her,'I love you too.'

He smiled and understood that all these things are new for her, it'll take some time for her to become that romantic partner he wants. She isn't extrovert and outgoing like him.
