Train Love

Chapter 3

She didnt lie down immediately. She sits on the seat, headphones on her ear, focussed only on phone. Without knowing myself I stared at her.

She smiled at her phone... I thought it may be a meme or comedy... Whatever it is, I thanked the cause of her smile because it made me to see that... That smile... Her lips slightly curled into a small smile. Her squishy cheeks look more squishable when she smiles.

Suddenly she pouts. she looks so cute when she pouts. I smiled to myself. When she is happy her face looks bright as moon. When she is serious, she will furrow her brows. When she is sad her face just lost all of its shine but still she is pretty.

"Adra dra naaka muka naaka muka..."

I startled when my phone rings. Everyone turns to find the source which disturbs their sleep. I picked my phone as fast as I can. I can sense that she controls her laugh at my action. It made me embarrass. "I should have to put my phone on silent"I thought to myself.

"Hello"

"what do you want?" I asked angrily. Its my friend. The only friend who knows my every secret...Nandha

"Cant I call you"

"You made me embarrassed"

"what? How?"

"My ringtone"

He laughed loudly on the call

"You keep that ringtone from our college days. I told you lot of times to change that. So its not my fault"

He started to laugh again

"If you continue to laugh at me, I will cut the call"

"Cool down...dude Usually you put songs loud in train when others sleeping. I never saw you embarrassed at these things. So what happened today?"

"Im matured now:

"You.?" He started to laugh again.

"Dude You got into fight with TTR for playing songs with high volume in train just two days back when you went Tirunelveli. Did you forget that?"

"That's two days before. Now Im matured"

"What is going on there? Tell me?"

I hesitate to tell him about the girl opposite to me. Because she could hear me.

"Nothing"

"Tell me" he said firmly. He is the type who cant wait for the surprises.

She suddenly got down from her seat and went to somewhere. I used this chance to tell him.

"In my opposite seat a gi" Before I finished the line he asked me

"Girl? Is she pretty? What is her name? Did you give your number to her?" he asked continuously.

"Wait Wait... Take a breath bro. I didnt even speak with her:

"Do you think Im a fool?"

"Really I didnt speak with her. But she gave me food because my food is wasted"

She came back but didnt come to her seat. She Stands near the seat and look at the other side often. She looks nervous.

"Then... Thats a good chance to speak... Dont you use that chance?"

"Bye... I'll call you later"

"Hey Wai" I cut the call without giving any more chance to him

I looked at her. Still she nervously looked at the other side. So I got down from my seat and went near to her. I hesitate at first but then "What happened?" I asked her.

"Nothing" she said

"Just tell me. I can help you" I told her.

She took some time to reply me. And then she said "There are some boys standing near the toilet. Looks like they drunk. Im scared to go alone there"

"uhhhh.. Can you... mmm.. can you come with me?" She asked hesitantly

"huhh... Sure" I said hiding my shocked face under small smile.

Then I moved my hands to the way to toilet as like telling her to move. She walked before me. Then waited for her. There three boys standing near the exit door as they looking outside and shouting loud and taking photos and videos of themselves and the outside of the train. As she said they looks like drunk.

Suddenly TTR came that side. And when he saw the boys he scold them for standing there because its dangerous and told them to go to their seats. And he turned to my side and asked me "Why are you standing here?" Before I could answer she came out from the toilet and looked at me questioningly.

By seeing her approached me TTR shook his head as he understood. Then he warned the boys as if they stand there he will impose penalty on them. We moved from there while TTR scold the boys. We both climbed up to our seats. Now I didn't lie down immediately. She sat on her seat and looked at me

"Thank you" she said.

"No mention"

She smiled at me. I screamed internally because that pretty smile is for me now.

Its too uncomfortable to sit there. But she looks so comfortable. I wonder how?

"How can you sit so comfortably there? My back hurts"

"Its because I'm short"

"Oh yeah right"

She laughed at me as I struggles to sit straight. At last I gave up and lied down.

She laughed again.

"You know... being short sometime helps"

she said with the big grin on her face. Then she lied down on her seat covering her with the duvet.

"Yeah Yeah" I said with the pout.

Suddenly she turns to my side
