You look at Yamaguchi, as he looks at you and you just... smile. Yamaguchi says something to Tsukkishima, and then comes over to your table. "Hey" he says to you. "Oh hi. Are you really-"
"Yup! Oh sorry for interrupting."
He interrupts you.
"No, it's fine, _SilverFreckles_." You both giggle and smile.

*Ring Ring*
The bell rings, you look at your timetable:
Science, Geography, Maths and History. You smile over to yamaguchi and start walking to science. It feels like you have know him for... ages...

4:30PM
Dear diary,
Today was actually way better than I thought it would be. So I met this boy called Yamaguchi, who ended up being _SilverFreckles_. Also, we ended up sitting together on the seating plans for every single one of the lessons I had today! Crazy! Luckily on my first day you don't get any homework so I might spend the whole evening just texting Yamaguchi. Anyway I'll write later.

The next week:

*buzz buzz* *buzz buzz*
Your alarm rings on your phone. As you turn off the alarm you notice the time: "7:35"
"Shoot. I start school in 25 minutes!"
You scream then quickly get dressed grab your bag and run out the door. As you run out, you trip over your untied shoe laces and fall face first onto the concrete floor.
"Y/n! Are you okay?"
You look up to see Yam looking concerned. As you look at his face, you get distracted by his adorable, heart-shaped freckles.
"Y/n?"
"Oh yeah sorry! I'm fine don't worry."
"Here. Lemme help you up."
He helped you up and smiled at you.
"Thanks." You smile back at him.
"So you live around me?" He asks you.
"Yeah actually. You?"
"Yeah, I actually live across the road. I don't know how I've never noticed you before..?"
You look at each other and laugh.
"Me neither." you reply.
You chat for a while and forget that you are meant to be going to school. You check your phone for the time: 7:59.
"Oh shoot the time!"
You both start sprinting to school and surprisingly you make it in time just before the bell.
"Phew!" Yamaguchi sighs.
"Excuse me? Where were you Yamaguchi?!"
You look up to a stern Tsukkishima.
"Gomen Tsukki! I overslept! I forgot we were meeting up before school to get some coffee!" Tsukkishima just rolls his eyes but then whispers something in his ear. With an disapproving face, he glances over at you and stares for a few seconds, shaking his head.
"Stop it's not her fault, Tsukki!" Yamaguchi shouts quietly at Tsukkishima, causing Tsukkishima to stop looking at me.

At the end of the day:

"Hey. Y/n!"
Yamaguchi calls you over.
"Wanna come to my house?"
"I would, but I have to babysit for my little sister!" You reply with a thrown.
"Oh I'm good with kids! I can come help!" Yamaguchi says reassuringly.
"You sure? My dad's daughter is a bit... shall I say... crazy?" You ask him.
"No it's fine!" He says.
"Ok... well don't say I didn't warn you.."
You both laugh and walk home.
