Part 5: The dinner date

[Time skip to dinner night, Saturday]

You get into some casual jeans and a shirt. While waiting for Yamaguchi, you look at TikTok.
"Kacchan, we were fiv-"
Soon after you opened your phone, the doorbell rang.
Before you got to it you heard your mum shout up the stairs...
"Y/N! Your boyfriend's here!"
You sigh and go downstairs and quickly run out the door. "Bye mum!"

"Again, sorry about her.." you apologise.
"No! No! Trust me it's fine!" He giggles and smirks. "Anyway let's go." You walk across the road to yams' house and you walk inside.
"So this is the girl? Nice to meet you... y/n? Is it?"
"Yeah. Nice to meet you too Mrs. Yamaguchi!"
"Anyway, I'm going out. Bye!" She leaves.

"S-so what are we having for dinner?" You ask.
"I'm not sure. To be honest I'm not sure how to cook." You laugh and think.
"Hmmm... I know! How about we order a pizza." You suggest.
"I'm down for a pizza!" You laugh and order the pizza.

"So what should we do while we wait?" You ask.
"Why don't we play some board games?" Yams suggests.
"You sure? I'm pretty good at monopoly."
"It's on!"
Yamaguchi runs upstairs to get monopoly."

Yams POV (texts between Tsukki and Yams)

Help!

What are you doing?

Rn I'm getting monopoly.

Hmm, does she seem competitive?

Yeah, should I let her win?

Maybe the first round let her win to see how good she is. But then after that don't let her.

Certain. Trust me I've had many girlfriends in my life.

Yamaguchi runs back downstairs.
"Sorry I couldn't find it."
"It's fine. While you were up there I was just... planning your defeat!"

[30 mins later]

"That's £300 thank you very much!" You said to Yamaguchi.
"Nooooo! That's all my money!" He cried in anger.

*Ding dong*

The doorbell rang.
"I'll get it!" He ran to the door. As you opened the pizza box, you smelt it's cheesy goodness.
You're mouth started watering. You looked up and noticed yamaguchi was looking at you, but when he noticed you saw him, he glanced away. You smirked and dug into some pizza.

"Mmmmm that was so good!" You said happily.
"I know right!" He agreed.
"You know what. I'm too stuffed to finish monopoly. How about we watch a movie?" He suggested.
"Sure. I know what we can watch!" You answered.
"What?" He asked.
"The newest avengers film!"
"YESS! Have you watched it yet?"
"Obviously!"
"Ten times over!" You said at the same time.

After a while, you were both snuggled up on the couch.
"This part always makes me cry.." you told yamaguchi.
You began weeping so yamaguchi gave you a hug and you began to calm down on his shoulder. You heard his heart beating. It was calm. Suddenly, he kissed you on the forehead. You looked at each other and smiled.

"Thanks about tonight.. it was nice.." you smiled at yamaguchi.
"Yeah... hey y/n..?"
"Yeah..?"
"Do you wanna.. maybe... like..."
"You o-okay yams?"
"Do you wanna be my girlfriend..?"
".." you began thinking.
"..o-of course I-it's fine i-if you don't want to..."
"No.. of course I do..!"
You looked at each other and smiled.
"Anyways, b-bye!"
"Have a nice night! See you on Monday!"
"You too!"
You began walking away when you remembered something.
You went back and kissed him on the cheek.
You both began to blush a dark red.
