A SUDDEN MEET

Chapter - 32

POV of Adah

After dance I receive text from Ibrahim "Meet me on top floor its urgent" so I leave... when I enter I see everything is decorated it is like Berk is doing this for me but why Ibrahim texted me...umm I guess he is helping him.

'Hii beautiful' Ibrahim says and I turn back

'Hey.... These?' I ask in confusion

'See all these were done in hurry so if you didn't liked it then I am sorry' he says

'Na na these are perfect but for whom?' I ask

'As you know I travel a lot and I don't like to be in fixed place but from last some months I am here... actually I have a problem and only you can solve it' he says and I listen more carefully

'Adah Sharma will you be my partner for my wanderlust... I promise to keep you happy to fulfil every wish....' He says and by taking my hand and now sits on his knees... 'I was confused but then Sarah insisted me to tell you how I feel so Will you marry me?' he says and now I am numb.... Clearly I don't have any kind of feelings for him but I don't want to sound rude

'See... I don't know what to say but.... First please stand' I insist and he follows 'I am sorry but you don't know anything about me and becoming a life partner is a big thing.... I am not saying that you're not perfect or I have someone else in my life but this is too fast... I can't say yes... you deserve happiness and I am just a bad luck nothing else.... The girl who will be your partner will be luckiest.... I am not that girl...' I say and he was now sad but he understood

'It means you're saying NO...' he says and I nod

'I am sorry... See you' before he could say anything I decide to left.

At party I notice Berk is not there and it's already late

'Adah Adah Adah.... Berk was asking about you...where were you???'

'It's a long story Asya... I don't want to spoil you day... see you later' I say and left for home

When I reached Berk's house to see where he is I notice there is also someone else....Sarah.... wow surprise

'Asya told me that you were finding me?' I ask politely

'Yes Miss Adah he was finding you because as you know you're now fit so you can shift in your house I mean rented house.' Sarah says and I am confused what happened suddenly Berk is not looking at me and Sarah is in good mood

'What do you mean?' I ask

'Can you give us a moment Sarah?' Berk asks and she leaves us alone

'So Miss Adah Sharma... I am noticing that today was best day of your life and as boss I am also trying to contribute... from today you'll work from home...we'll least interact which is better for us....and yes keep your personal life separate that's all you can leave' he says very rudely and I am not able to understand what happened suddenly

'But what happened?' I asks

'I asked you to leave Miss Sharma' he says

'At least explain what I have done?'

'You can leave now!' he shouts first time in my life he shouted like that and now there is nothing left.... I know what I have to do and where do go

'Okay sir... thank you so much for everything...' I say and leave

I start packing my things... I never thought I have to face this here I knew I am bad luck. I decide to leave a letter for Asya because now there is nothing left here and I know where I have to go.

"Dear Asya

I am sorry that I left but now you are settled I am happy for you. I never thought that our last good bye was like that in party but this night is worst for me and I don't know when you'll read this and yes don't try to contact me.

Ibrahim proposed me today and I said no because I don't love him you also know that... he was sad...I don't know what was my mistake Berk behaved very rudely but I think he was right he is my boss nothing else we don't have to keep expectations from him. I never shared my problems with you because I didn't wanted to remember all that I was here to restart my life but now I think I was wrong... I don't know what to say.... and yes I am NOT returning to India.

I'll miss you... and sorry... A happy married life Asya... you're definition of true friend
