POV of Adah

So I got unexpected birthday surprises and now I am regretting to share my birthday with Asya she told everyone and these all. We visit beach side restaurant. I am getting calls from my actual home too...

'Why don't you pick call and talk....?' Berk says

'I don't want.... Leave...' I say to him I know if I'll pick up they will video call me.

'Don't say me it is from your home....' He says by raising his brow and I just nod. 'Why you're not picking up then?' he again asks me

'You don't know anything Berk....' I say little rudely but I also regret my behaviour... they are doing too much for me and I am being rude.

'Excuse me' I say to them and decide to pick call.... Okay video call

'Haa Mom.... See I am alive'

'Honey don't say rubbish on your birthday.... Many many happy returns of the day.... I wish you were not....' I interrupt her

'Okay okay mom don't start... I am happy here look and Thanks...' I say

'Yes, you're looking absolutely fine.... Even there is glaze on your face or I should say blush' she says and I roll my eyes

'Mom due to sunlight my face is looking like this.... I am at beach so...' I don't want to mention anything

'Wait...You're at beach?? Alone?? God Adah go back wherever you live...' she shouts

'Shhhh... I am here with my boss and his friend and Asya I live with her....' I say and just hope she don't ask more

'OH... so you're partying' she says but her tone was sad

'No ... yes... actually they planned this and surprised me.'

'When you're coming back?' she asks a difficult question

'Why should I?' I ask

'Sorry dear.... Leave I don't want to spoil your day... try to call us beta we were worried for you.... Please...'

'I can't promise mom... but I'll try and yes don't mention we I know who cares and who doesn't....leave bye... I'll send you pics but don't reply after that okay?'

'No problem take care...' and she cuts...

I know someone noticed all these but leave I didn't had headphones so....

'Sorry...' Berk says

'I am sorry... I shouted on you why you are sorry?' I ask politely

'Umm... I just became a witness of you video call to India...' he says in playful tone

'See I already knew that someone is listening but I ignored not a big issue...' I say

'Can I ask you something??' he says and boom I know what he will ask

'One question only'

'Not fare but leave others I'll ask another day....' He says and I nod

'Are you happy here?' he asks

'Yes of course even I don't think I could be happy more from this.' I say which is true

'Why?' he asks

'I agreed for one question na...' I say with smile

'Huh... leave and come see your cake' he says and I follow him

There were two cakes and I know one was for my face... Before cutting it I wish for something and then I cut the cake. Main confusion was whom I'll give cake first but I decided to give Ash... where is she... when I didn't found her I decide to give first piece to Berk... then she arrives with coat but why?

'You'll need this... today temperature will be more chilled' she says and I am confused

'But we will leave na after lunch?' I ask

'Ask your Boss' she says and I turn to Berk and he turns away his face .... I am confuse what is happening....
