~Macy~
With my tears falling down onto Tilly, I scooped her up and ran. I ran as fast as I could, not knowing where I was going. All I knew is that she needed help, and I was going to get her it. No matter what it took.
I dodged trees and jumped over logs, sniffing the air in hopes to find a pack soon. Tilly was struggling to stay awake which panicked me.
My legs were starting to hurt, but I didn't care. I couldn't let another person die. I couldn't fail again for it would send me in a downward spiral, so I focused on my legs. Rapidly moving them back and forth, leaves crunched with every step.
Now and then I would step on a sharp rock or twig which would cause me to hiss in pain.
I looked down at Tilly again, her eyes were almost closed... She was falling asleep...
"Tilly! I need you to stay awake! Please, don't close your eyes!"
She opened them again and looked at me, tiredness was clear on her face. "That's it, now keep them open."
The smell of the air changed, forcing me to yell for help. "Please, someone! I need help! Please!" I continued running until the familiar scent of a rainy night found its way to me.
I slowed down trying to find him. He's my mate, he will help me... He has to...
He came into my view with warriors behind him. His face was like stone, and he moved and an extremely slow pace. Come on, man! This is an emergency!
I ran up to him, Tilly barely breathing in my arms, and yelled again. "Please, help her! Please!" His dark blue eyes met mine which sent a shiver down my spine and calmed me down a little bit.
He looked down to Tilly, who still had her eyes open, then he looked at her wound. His warriors gave confused glances to him, Tilly, and even myself as we were all silent.
Finally, he spoke "Why should I help her?" Jealousy was clearly laced in his voice. Are you for real right now? I know we may be mates, but this is outrageous. We barely knew each other, yet he had the audacity be be jealous of the DYING GIRL in my arms?
"You should help her because your mate is asking you to!" I scolded him. I shouldn't have to get on my knees and beg for him to save my friend.
"What is she to you?" He asked, now angry because of my tone. I looked down to Tilly. If I told him she was my friend he wouldn't believe me and would probably think we're lovers. We don't look alike enough to be sisters, so I settled with the third best thing.
"She's my cousin! Please, you have to help her!" My voice cracked while trying to get those words out. He stared at me and I knew he didn't believe my lie, but his eyes glazed over, signaling he was mind linking someone.
An older looking wolf with light gray hair and fuzzy brows came scrambling out of nowhere and snatched Tilly out of my arms. He then ran into a tall building, which looked to be a medical wing.
I started to run after her, but before I could move, someone grabbed ahold of my arm. Sparks and tingles flew into me and I could feel my muscles involuntarily relax.
"Come with me." He demanded as he pulled me through the crowd of warriors. I struggled against his grip but he only tightened.
"Let go of me!" I said as he continued to drag me. I stopped moving my feet and pulled in the opposite direction he was going. He let out a warning growl but I ignored it and continued to pull.
I still wasn't escaping from his grip, so I tried to pull again but fell backwards onto my bottom.
"Listen here mate, you do what I say otherwise your cousin in there will take her last breath. Is that understood?" He spat out threatening me while towering over me.
