If you guys haven't seen the announcement on my profile, I'm updating Enraptured January 2021. I'm so grateful for you guys reading my stories while I was on hiatus <3 I've been reading all of your comments and it makes me cry that my stories make you guys happy in some way. I know I've been gone for a very long time so please bear with me because Wattpad has changed a lot the past 2 years I was on hiatus.
I wanted to be honest about why I took 2 years off writing...
I was diagnosed with depression, anxiety, and PTSD in December 2018, and one of my family members was diagnosed with cancer that same year. I've been taking my time healing by going to therapy and taking my medications on time and all that. I know this topic is pretty dark but I want to help reduce some of the stigmas when it comes to seeking help for mental health. I used Wattpad as an escape to write stories but depression is an intricate disorder, and for a moment, I allowed it to consume me.
I'm feeling a lot better now that I regained my passion for writing. I can play the piano again, paint, and most of all, feel. I apologize for disappearing without notice but what brought me back were your sweet encouraging comments and favorites in both Enamored and Enraptured. I couldn't believe that people would still read my stories after being gone so long. You guys gave me hope and I want to return the favor by updating Enraptured January 2021. Thank you again for your love and support <3
