The New Mission

The Avengers were in the common room, some were talking, other playing video games and third watching the game and eating.

F.R.I.D.A.Y.: Avengers, Nick Fury has requested your presence in the conference room.

Tony: What could Mr. Pirate possibly want now?

Clint: I don't know. Must be a mission.

Steve: Let's just go and see.

~Conference room~

Tony: We're here eyepatch.

Fury: Avengers you have a new mission.

Steve: What is it?

Fury cleared his throat and turned towards Natasha.

Fury: Natasha I advise you go wait outside.

Natasha: Why?

Fury: This may be a little sensitive for you.

For once he sounded really sincere and worried.

Natasha: Doesn't matter. What's the mission about?

Fury sighed and looked back at everyone.

Fury: There have been a lot of  people saying that the Red Room is back.

With the mention of the Red Room Natasha stopped hearing the rest of what Fury was saying. That was until  the screen behind him showed a picture of three people. People she was well too familiar with - Ivan Petrovich, Madame B and Anastasia. Ivan was the leader of the Red Room, Madame B was the one that trained the girls, and Anastasia was one of the closest people she had there and also Madame's daughter.

Seeing their pictures made Natasha remember, remember every single live she had taken under their orders. Flashbacks flooded her mind and soon she was lost in them.

Flashback

Brussels, Belgium  1941

Natalia was only 16 and yet here she was on her first mission. Her mission was to kill a rich man and his family. The man refused to help the organization grow and now he was paying for it.

She sneaked inside the property and saw the big house surrounded by dozens of guards "he must have knew somebody was coming for him" she thought. Natalia knew if it came to fight, the guards won't stand a chance, but she left the fighting for plan B.

Natalia sneaked inside the house without somebody noticing. She was currently exiting the kitchen and going upstairs. Once there she heard voices coming from one of the bedrooms. Noticing the door was slightly open she looked and saw a mother and a child. The mother was reading the child a fairy tale and then it hit her that it was the target's wife and child and she had to kill them. Natalia got her gun out and pointed it at the mother, but something in her couldn't pull the trigger, so she left. She headed to the office where the men was supposed to be. Without knocking she pushed the door open and got inside, locking it behind. Startled the target looked up.

Man: NOG NOOIT VAN KLOPPEN GEHO-<NEVER HEARD OF KNO->

He didn't get a chance to finish his sentence before falling to the floor with a bullet through his head. Soon enough there were guards trying to get in and when they did they saw Natalia just standing there with emotionless face and a gun. One of the guards pointed his gun and started to get close to her.

Guard: Wie stuurt u? < Who send you?>

Without saying anything Natasha kicked the man who was now standing two feet away from her, the other guards got their weapons out but before anyone could shoot her, she was at them kicking one in the face, shooting at another, breaking the neck of third etc. 5 minutes later all guards were laying on the floor, dead.

Natasha was about to open the window when she heard that somebody was behind her. It was the mother. Thinking it was a guard which survived, she got her gun out and shoot the mother not knowing it was her nor that the little girl was hiding behind her mother. Seconds later the mother fell dead revealing the girl which had tears threatening to fall. Natasha saw that and quickly opened and jumped out the window.

End of flashback

Natasha sat there not saying anything or moving. She was so lost in her thoughts that she didn't noticed the tear that fell from her eye.

Steve that sat besides her touched her shoulder which was a big mistake. Natasha's reflexes kicked in and in a second the super soldier had his cheek pressed against the table while his arm was being pulled by Natasha.
When she came to her senses she immediately released him.

Natasha: Oh I-I am sorry, I-I d-didn't meant t-to hurt y-you.

With that Natasha hurried out the room and into her bedroom.

When she got there she went to the bathroom, locking the door. She washed her face and looked at herself in the mirror. It was back. The Red Room was back. The reason behind every single nightmare and fear she has is back. Then her eyes widened. Nobody in the team, not even Clint knew about her REAL story. The story Clint knew was just a cover. She couldn't tell him the truth because she thinks that he will either judge or pity her. And she hates both.

What happened minuets ago definitely made everyone realize that something is really wrong, which would lead to too many questions she only knows the answer to, but doesn't want to answer. Natasha knew what she has to do.

She has to leave.

I am rewriting some chapters and there is Wanda, which means that Vision is also there and Vision is basically J.A.R.V.I.S. so yeah.
