Back to school

Natsuki's Pov

Papa didn't come home until I was asleep so I don't know if he knows I skipped. Hopefully he doesn't..

I get out of bed and get into the shower. It stings.. why??

I get out and quickly put my clothes on and brush my teeth.

I look at myself in the mirror. Bruises.. everywhere.. I cover the ones on my face up with makeup.

I go downstairs to make sure papa left for work. He did, thank god.

I grab a pen and a piece of paper. I can't forget to write a poem.

I look in the fridge. Nothing. I look in the cabinets. Nothing.

I go in my dad's room and take 5 dollars out of his wallet he forgets to bring every day.

I run out of the house to go buy a snack.

I find one and the casher asks me, "Where's your mom and dad?" Mom... "Oh um there at home and let me grab a snack before I go to school."

I pay him all my money. I was able to find two things this time.

"Oh, okay just making sure, have a nice day!" I take my purchased items.

"You too!" I put on a fake smile and wave him goodbye.

I eat one as I walk to school and save the other one for lunch.

I get to school and see Yuri standing at the entrance to the school.

"Hey! Natsuki!"

She runs over to me so I stop and wait.

"Where were you yesterday?"

Crap.. What do I say?? I cant tell her about dad... she might do something and end up hurt..

"Oh I was uh.. sick! Yeah I was sick.."

Like she'll ever beleive that lie...

"Oh yeah.. Monika said you texted her that you were sick I forgot, sorry.."

Was she worried about me? No. She doesn't care about me and she would never worry about me because I'm so god damn mean to her. I need to stop that.

"It's fine, Yuri, but we do need to go to class to I'll see you in second period."

I wave to her and she waves back causing her sleeve to come down a little revialing cuts.

I pretend not to see it while I walk to class. I should talk to her about that in private after school.

Time skip to 2nd period

I walk into the class room and wave to Yuri with a fake smile.

I dont see Sayori, but I dont wanna worry about her too much.

I wanna talk to Yuri.

I wanna talk to her more than I wanna read my manga.

I go up to her and start blushing. I lose control of my body and hug her.

It was a nice long warm hug. I liked it.

"N-Natsuki? Y-you've never hugged m-me before..."

What do I say?? I let go of her. She looks so pretty... She has nice dreamy eyes....

"N-natsuki?"

"Sorry! I-I mean! I just wanted to show you what it feels like to be hugged by someone as great as me!"

She laughs. She doent by my excuse..

"Oh okay Natsuki"

I sit down in my seat and hear giggling.. Who's doing that?

"Boo!!" Sayori jumped at me and hugged me from behind.

"SH*T- Er- Dont scare me like that!"

"Fine fine"

Time skip to club time

I don't see Yuri as I walk to my club. She's probably in there already.

I walk in and there's the beautiful lady herself reading her book.

Wait. Did I just call her beautiful??

I walk over to her and say her name to get her attention.

"Yuri... YURI!"

She looks up from her book and slams it closed with fear in her eyes for two senconds.

"O-oh Nastuki! Sorry.. Is it time to share poems or something?"

Poems? Already? I just got here!

"No dummy... I wanna talk to you in private for a few minutes"

With that both Sayori and Monika's eyes look right at us.

Did I say that too loud?

"O-oh yeah.. okay."

She puts her book down and follows me outside the club room.
