CHAPTER TWENTY-FOUR

Michelle

"It's not every day you meet a guy like Peter Parker. He's friendly, funny, caring, smart..., I could go on all night. Peter's someone who you're lucky to meet and if he lets you get to know him then the stars must have aligned in your favour. Because - I'm not lying when I say this - Peter Parker is the very best person anyone will ever meet.

"Peter Parker was no normal teenager because in his free time he went out into the city as Spider-Man. Spider-Man was a hero to all. He saved so many lives under this mask and helped keep everyone in New York save. But Peter Parker was my hero because he cared. He showed me what it felt like to be loved for the first time in my life. And sure, he wasn't the most reliable - with the whole superhero, saving the world alter ego - but in between saving the world he tried his hardest to treat me special.

"Although being Spider-Man took so much time and effort and limited Peter from partaking in normal teenage activities - such as school work and meeting up with friends - Peter never took being Spider-Man as a burden. In fact, he embraced it and took it as a responsibility. While others may have used this superpower to excel in sport - Peter did nothing of the kind. He never used these powers for personal gain, instead, he focused on helping those around him. He worked his butt off to help random strangers who he had never met and would never talk to again; with nothing in return.

"So many people are alive and safe because of Peter. So many families are happy and together because of Peter. In a mere 16 years, Peter managed to touch so many lives.

"Peter put everyone in front of himself and never questioned a thing about it. I know this because even with his whole superhero agenda he still made time to be with me. He still made time to talk to his best friends and make them laugh. He still made time to be with those he loved and who loved him back. Because he was Peter Parker and Peter Parker was able to do anything.

"Peter died, being the selfless hero we all know under the name Spider-Man. Specifically, he died saving me. Anyone could have been in danger and I know Peter wouldn't have thought twice about going to help if he sensed danger. He died in a selfless act of bravely and the world will never forget what he did for us.

"We will never forget Peter Parker and may he rest in peace, knowing he did more than anybody on this Earth has ever done or will do. Peter will be remembered forever and even though he is not physically here with us anymore he will always live in our hearts."

Notes

Andddd that's an end. Thank you to everyone who read, commented and/or voted for this story it means so much to me! I'm sorry I'm such a slack updater, but I hope everyone enjoyed this story!!!!

In the duration of writing this fic I definitely fell out of my love for Marvel. Don't get me wrong I still love the stories and characters and everything but not as hard core as I was when I started writing this... I feel like it may have shown in the frequency of my updating.

You will now find me reading/writing Sirius Black and Remus Lupin from Harry Potter fanfiction. What can I say I'm a sucker for Wolfstar.

Anyway thanks for sticking around. Love ya
