Chapter Twenty Six – King of the Rogues.
I stood staring in shock at my mum sitting on the homemade thrown. Her dark red hair was messy and tied back in a bun, her cheeks were protruding out of her face, and she looked pale white which made her eyes stand out even more. They were a horrible pale red, not as bright as the freak sitting next to her but the Rogue colour was there in them.
“Mum” I choked out, it hurt seeing her. It hurt knowing that this is where she had been, that she was part of their group. I felt betrayed but mostly hurt.
“Blake-“she began to mutter out, her voice was raspy and dry. It sounded nothing like my mum.
“Yes, the infamous Blake, the one who seems to keep getting herself involved with my Rogues, and now look at you, you are one of us!” The man said next her. I looked at him, he looked crazed utterly mad. His dark black hair was matted but still combed back to make it look neat, his clothes were intact unlike the other Rogues I had seen, he was all in black and probably looked the most sane here but his eye were such a bright red, they almost seemed to be glowing. He looked unhinged as he stood up and paced towards me.
“I must say you look awfully like your mother, but unfortunately I can still see that bastard of a father of yours in you” the man said. I bit my tongue, it took every ounce of power I had to hold myself back and rip into this guy’s throat. I had a plan I needed to stick too. I looked out of the corner of my eyes, seeing for any other exits, any clue for where my brothers might be. “I must say I was quite shocked when heard of your little escapade the other day, you nearly turning enthralled me! How great would it have been to have not only Kiran’s wife but his daughter too? And now look at me, I have both!” The man rambled on and laughed like a mad man. I feel a shiver run through me, I had no idea what he was talking about but it sent me on edge.
I looked at my mum, confused and bewildered but as she opened her mouth, the man started talking again. His back was turned now, he was pacing up and down in front of my mother.
“You see Blake, I have waited for this day for so long! Not only know do I have Kiran’s wife but I have three of his sons and his daughter! Five down and two to go! The joy of the chase is nowhere near as fun as the victory of capture!” the man muttered as he paced.
Three? Three of the sons?
“Three?” I muttered under my breath, my mind raced. Three of the sons, who else did he have? Zane? Caleb? Laton? I swear if he hurts any of my brothers I will kill him. I will kill him.
“And as a bonus I now have the Alpha of that new bothersome pack!” The man muttered.
Kai. He was talking about Kai. He had Kai and Zane. Zane was patrolling with Kai, keeping close behind me and now they had been captured. I bit down hard on my back teeth holding back the panicked breaths and looked up at my mum. No worry crossed her face, no concern, she just seem stuck staring at me in shock.
“Where are they?” I ground out, trying desperately hard not to snap and lose it right now. The man turned on his heels and faced me, his red eyes were open wide and a menacing smile was on his face.
“Oh they will be unharmed my dear, they are no use to me dead” he said. At the sound of the word dead I felt something snap inside of me and I leapt forward, my canines elongating and aiming straight at this man. I was instantly grabbed back by my wrists by Eric who had appeared in the room, I thrashed in his arms, snarling and growling. He wrapped one strong hand around my throat and held my head still. This man was a fucking psychopath and if he even dared lay a finger on one of my brothers or Kai I will tear his damn throat out.
“Easy there little girl. I wouldn’t anger Magnus if I was you.” Eric cooed in my ear, his breath hit my face and it stunk of raw meat.
The mad man, Magnus, started to laugh hard.
