Never Home.

I've been in a daze as I stared out to the sunset, I was on our belcony. He would usually stand here with me.
But he hasn't been home in nearly 3 months because of a film taking place overseas. He loves the travel and is always excited. I try to give him his privacy, but I'm afraid it'll last for a year and I'll never see him.

We do calls, face times. Its not the same.
I feel empty without him here this gorgeous house means nothing without him here with me. I know it sounds cheesy but it's true.
I miss him terribly.

The phone rang and Tom's name popped up, I smiled, but frowned when I realized he STILL wasn't here.

Tom:Love, I have good news.

HIS excited voice made me smile, but... It could either be good news for him but bad news for me.
HIS acting career was hitting big and he seemed to forget about me.

Me:What is it?

My voice sounded raspy and dry, also VERY irritated.

Tom:what's wring, darling? Under the weather?

I rolled my eyes to his amusement. The longer he was away, the more irritated I grew. I seem to be taking it out on him, but then again, he turned me into this monster. This lonely monster.

Me: just tell me Tom, tell me how long you'll be gone this time. Tell me how you'll leave me alone in this empty house and forget about me.

Tom:woah, honey. Calm down love. I called to say Ill be back in 2 days time since directors finished before the set date. It was quicker than expected. But then again it wasn't such a long film planned.

He spoke so long I lost interest, I forgot what he said, he tents to babble.

Me:What's your point?

Okay, that cane out abit harsh.

Tom: wow, just wow. I cane to tell you I'd be back either tomorrow or Tuesday.

Me:you said that a month ago and what happened? You ended up moving half way across the world. Stop making emtpy promises.

Tom:I'm not, I'll even send a picture of the set schedule.

Me:Alright,ill see you on Tuesday then.

Tom:You don't sound excited like you use to.

Me:Because I don't want to be disappointed.

Tom: So you're saying I'm a disappointment.

Me: NO! You're just never here, but yes, I'm excited to see you if you ACTUALLY come.

Tom:I will, I have to go, they need me.

The call ended.

So do I.
