I recently (Meaning just today) got a cat (stray) His doing so well. I named him Tom and that's when I got the inspiration for this chapter. Enjoy.

With my arms wrapped around Tom's, we walked down the wet pavement/sidewalk of London. It rained recently, we've been waiting at the coffee shop for it to stop since we didn't have an umbrella.

With my wandering eyes, I spotted the MOST adorable kitten I've ever seen!!

"Tom". I called out, he answered with a Hmm and slowed down a bit.

I pointed to the kitten who was cowaring behind the legs of a bench. The lost animal warmed my heart, the way his eyes enlarged when he saw me walk over.

"Honey, What are you-"

"We can't leave him here, he has no collar. Please". I begged, petting the fluffy cat in my arms. Tom's eyes softened and he nodded with a smile.

"I can't say no to you". He tilted his head, telling me to bring the kitten along. I skipped happily and we reached home.

With a lock of the door, I placed the kitten down gently. He looked traumatized, he was shivering, cold and scared.

"Honey, are you sure we're ready to foster a kitten? Especially a stray?" He asked, I was afraid he might change his mind again.

"I have a soft spot for the cat family. Even lions. But, Tom... What would you do if you saw a kitten out there? You just so happened to miss it if it weren't for me".

Without a word, he placed a gentle kiss on my lips and smiled, removing his coat and answered with a I'm an animal guy FYI.

I rolled my eyes and kissed his cheek.

2 days later.

I've been giving all my attention to Tom, the cat and not my husband.
Which honestly, pissed him off a little. The cat needed it more than him.

"Again?" He asked, watching me powdering the cat. After washing him, again.

"Of cause, he needs it". I shrugged and snuggled the kitten. He purred and shut his eyes.

"What about me!?" He complained, throwing his arms up and pouted.

"So you want me to rub your head, scratch your neck and give you a belly scratch??" I asked, trying not to laugh.

"If that's what it takes! Then yes!" He yelled, brining his face foward for me to pet.

I laughed loudly and pet him, even rubbed under his neck.

"Once his asleep, you'll have me all to yourself". I reassured.
He huffed and crossed his arms angrily.

"This is why I didn't want to take him".he mumbled and turned back to the book he was reading.
The tempest.
