You stood there, rooted in place as your eyes fell on the raven-haired man. His previously neatly styled hair was now messier; evidently from having ran his fingers through them, multiple times, out of habit. The black suit he wore complimented his moderately built figure, its coat was left open, disclosing the slightly dishevelled white shirt he wore underneath; a couple of its top buttons unbuttoned and his tie loosened; allowing his warm-beige toned bare chest to peek through; its long sleeves rolled up to his elbows, revealing his insanely attractive vascular arms.

Blood rushed to your cheeks, warming them up and instantly painting them in a prominent red shade. He was breathtakingly good-looking; well, that was a fact you were aware of since high school; from the moment you had first met him. But time had only blessed him more; kindly granting him exceptionally exquisite pheromones. His appearance clearly more mature; especially emphasized on his now sharper facial features. He was just so damn handsome.

Your eyes softened as you watched him bicker with a mutual friend; pointing his chopstick at the table, aggressively, making a big deal, unnecessarily, trying to prove a vain point. The more you stood there, unnoticed by your former-classmates; the more you realized just how everlasting Jung Wooyoung was. Even through the years, he had remained the same; his bright, contagious smile and his loud, outgoing, cheerful personality were obvious proof.

Maybe you were biased; he was your first love after all... But; he truly was such a genuine person-

"Oh, Y/N!"

You flinched out of your thoughts as someone from the table had called out to you. Everyone's attention immediately switched towards you; your heart started to race as you felt extremely nervous having all that attention on you; specifically his.

You averted your eyes from his, unexpectedly, intimidating stare. You plastered on an awkward grin as you walked over to where your classmates were.

"Sorry, for being late." You uttered apologetically, as you sat down on a vacant chair at the table; totally unaware that it was the seat right in front of Wooyoung.

"Don't worry. We all got here only a couple minutes ago." Your friend reassured as she handed you a pair of chopsticks and a soju glass.

Today was your class reunion; it had already been almost eight years since you had last seen any of your classmates, the career path you had decided to take was quite lonely; you could say your ambition wasn't popular- rather, it was unique to you.

Therefore; you were genuinely excited to meet them and curious about how they were doing.

You drowned yourselves in long conversations about your lives; through laughter and chatter.

It was an unfamiliar setting; your younger, high-school self would have never imagined being able to, so easily, adapt to a social environment. You used to be extremely shy and quiet; you often victimized yourself, blaming others for making you feel invisible, even though you knew, more than anyone else, that it was you who pushed them away. You had built strong walls around you, under the pretense of protecting yourself from getting hurt but- it only ever brought more harm than any benefit.

Therefore, it felt good to grow out of it. You had only realized it when you had stepped into university life; that such a pessimistic mentality was not going to take you anywhere. You forced yourself to be confident and approachable; you also tried to take the initiative to talk to others and be more amicable. You were proud of yourself for doing so; crawling out of your shell had let you delve into various interesting aspects of life.

You glanced over to the side; locking eyes with Wooyoung, whose proximity went unnoticed as he had turned awfully quiet since you had got there.

You quickly looked away as your entire face flushed; was he staring at you the entire time?
