Chapter Three: Strange Things

Since the music video for Lira has been moving along at a faster speed than forecasted Laurent and the rest of the cast were surprised with a day off so he and Larry spent it just enjoying each other. They had brunch, went to a matinee and topped the day off by taking Llama to a dog park. She was a bit shy at first in an unfamiliar environment and seeing all the other dogs so she stayed close to Larry and Laurent as she watched them all run around and play fetch with their owners, but she eventually started to explore her surroundings. When a dog her size came up to her they sniffed each other as dogs do and they ultimately started playing together while they talked to the owner. They all laughed when they saw the two adorable creatures having a running match while belting out their adorable little barks. They spent quite some time at the park and Llama was exhausted from the activity so on the way home she fell asleep on Larry's lap. Talking between he and his love was kept to a minimum and not above a whisper when they did talk as they didn't want to wake her. The remainder of the day was keeping close and loving on each other, having dinner together and after their nightly shower they snuggled as they watched TV. At times, hearing the other laugh. They watched TV until their eyes got heavy and sleep consumed them. Now it's the day of the reception taste testing. Being a lover of food, Larry has been excitedly awaiting this day and while they're only samples he's still hoping that they're generous if they're delicious as their descriptions on the website. His excitement made him the first to wake up and now back inside after taking Llama out he creeps back into the bedroom and takes a moment to gaze at his gorgeous fiance' who's nothing short of breathtaking as he sleeps with a gentle rise and fall of his chest. Larry creeps over with a mischievous smile on his face, carefully hovers over him and begins planting kisses on Laurent's neck and cheeks. He also drops one to his forehead and the gentle kiss on his nose causes Laurent's eyes to flutter open with Larry being the first sight he sees. He smiles then hears Larry sweet voice telling him, "it's time to get up my love". Laurent softly chuckles and nods as he adorably rubs his eye. Larry gets up so Laurent can too and as Larry makes his way out of the bedroom Laurent heads over to the bathroom. The taste testing is a few hours away so Larry proceeds with making breakfast. They have some time to spare afterwards so they retreat to the couch. Larry is on the opposite end of the couch resting his head against the arm of it with his legs on Laurent's lap whose back is relaxed against the cushion. He has a crossword puzzle and he's enjoying Larry smile as he's trying to guess the answers. There's nothing better nor sweeter than the sound of Larry's laughter echoing all around when Laurent playfully tells him that he's wrong. He gets most of them right and each time he does he's given a sweet, "good job bebe" from his love. The time has now come for them to leave for the taste testing and Laurent gets a hearty laugh from Larry practically running out of the house and to the car. He playfully shakes his head and with Llama in her kennel he steps out and locks the front door then gets in the driver's seat to head for the venue...

When they walked through the doors of The Castille they're immediately greeted by the smiling face of the manager, Lisa, who extends her hand to shake theirs as she expresses her gratitude for choosing them for their special day. She has fun trying to distinguish Larry from Laurent then she leads them to the dining room where there's a designated table set up with with forks and spoons. They all take a seat, but before the highly anticipated presentation of the food she has a few things to confirm...

Lisa: "So, per my conversation with you, Larry, I understand you both desire a cocktail hour after the ceremony with the Asian, Italian and Caribbean food stations, correct"? 

Larry: "Yes that's correct".

Lisa: "Excellent. Those samples are currently being prepared and you'll be trying them momentarily".
