READER'S POV
"So, what's the first step to completing phase one?" Yuki asked, noticing we didn't really go over how.
"Well, we already know the bodyguard we're gonna be working with is the only living member of the Kurta clan. That means he's probably gonna have an idea of where the hideout is, because he's most likely wanting revenge.That means we need to meet up and decide what to do with him." I replied, seeing our options laid out in front of us.
"sounds like a plan!" Anna replied, practically jumping up from her seat. (Yuki had given her some of his marshmallows)
I noticed Annie was still staring at the picture of the target. Oh geez, don't tell me she...
"Whatcha doin there Annie?" Apparently my question had startled her, because she jumped up and practically screamed, "NOTHING!!!", causing half the restaraunt to look at us.
" oooohhhhhh~ Annie's got a crush, Annie's got a crush!" Yuki and Anna sang.
"But she better not dislike the idea of kidnappings him-" Anna started.
"Especially since she'll get to toy with him once we do~" yuki finished.
"S-Shut up!" Annie stuttered.
This might not go over to well if she likes the target... It'll jeopardize the mission. We have to be cautious.
Oh geez, there fighting again... "Guys?" No response.
"GUYS!!!" I yelled, getting there attention. But what I didn't know was that the security was gonna take us away soon, as this was the second time disrupting the diner. "We should go find the bodyguard, his name's kurapika. I have his address in my phone." I stated.
"Hey kids! Stop right there! We're taking you to the station!" Two police officers appeared.
"Anna!" Annie called.
"Got it!" She replied, creating a portal. Her ability was portal jumper, allowing her to create a portal to whatever destination she thought about.We all hopped in.
Once we landed, she closed the portal. We were in an unfamiliar place. There was a lot of broken glass around us.
"Why... Does this look so... Familiar??" I heard yuki mutter.
"We're in meteor city, rumored home of the phantom troupe!" Anna stated to us.
